NJSI INTERVENTIONS AND ACTIVITIES COVID 19 (Second Wave) Relief Programs In Kavrepalanchok district, NJSI distributed relief packages to 300 families in Panauti, 150 families in Tinpiple and 110 families in Hokse, where there were Covid-19 victims. With the aim of providing basic food materials for at least one month, the package included 25 kgs of rice, 2 kgs of lentils, 1 kg of salt, 1ltr of oil, 2 soaps and 2 kgs of grams per family. NJSI distributed relief packages to 200 fami- lies in Pokhara, 300 families in Dhading district and Gajuri, Dhadhing district 300 families in Kathmandu valley. NJSI had supported the “Chepang Community” with the school building in Shree Robang Basic School of Rorang Municipality ward no 9 in the year 2020. This community is one of the ethnic group and margin- alized communities of Nepal. Their constant urge to come in the mainstream cannot be fulfilled due to the limited resources and opportunities.
