WHY LINKEDIN? TURNING EMPLOYEES INTO BRAND ADVOCATES We are now asking all Frandsen employees to create a LinkedIn profile. LinkedIn is a platform that can help leverage Frandsen’s brand awareness, engagement, and company image. We encourage employees to engage with Frandsen’s posts and tag us in posts. It’s important that our employees don’t just have a profile but have a strong profile that includes all of the aspects listed below. If you don’t already have a LinkedIn account this guide will show you step-by-step how to create one. HOW TO CREATE A LINKEDIN PROFILE IN A FEW EASY STEPS Step 1. Visit www.linkedin.com/signup and enter your email and create a password. Step 2. Upload a professional photo for your profile picture. Step 3. Next, click the edit icon in the top right-hand corner to upload the Frandsen branded background image. Step 4. Click \"add profile section\" and complete every part of the \"core\" section. Feel free to fill out the other sections as well. 2
Step 5. Next, click the edit icon that is below the background photo and fill out all of the sections. Make sure your headline stands out and includes keywords. Step 6. Search for Frandsen Bank & Trust and follow the company LinkedIn page. Step 7. On the company page, click on \"people\" and connect with other Frandsen employees. Step 8. Engage with Frandsen content and mention us in your posts. You can mention us by typing \"@frandsen\" in a post and the company page will pop up. POST EXAMPLES POSTING & MENTONING When you're posting on LinkedIn about anything Frandsen related make sure to mention us by typing \"@frandsen\" until our company page appears. Also, be sure to use 1-3 relevant hashtags in every post to gain more reach on your posts. As you can see in some of the examples, hashtags can be used in sentences or at the end of your caption. Some good content ideas include; volunteering with Frandsen, Frandsen blog articles, and new position announcements. If you run out of content ideas to post, sharing and liking Frandsen's posts is an easy fix and will appear in your follower's feeds. For those in the C-suite, I encourage you to post to LinkedIn frequently because potential employees and customers love to see what the higher-ups have to say when they're researching a company. 7
