Callpoints are designed for changeable inserts in vertical or horizontal forms as shown in picture. The Call Button Insert design enables a facility to swap out and replace the current call button instead of needing to replace the whole callpoint. For example, if a facility had a Staff Assist Callpoint in a room and now wanted that callpoint to be an Emergency Callpoint, they simply swap out the staff Assist Insert button for an Emergency Call Insert and reconfigure to alert as an emergency call on the system when pressed. With this added flexibility and low maintenance feature the facility can work out which alerts need to be where long after the initial install. IP‐RLY – IP Dual Rela y      Features   Provides two individually controlled relays     Electrically isolated for high voltage     Patient may use hand held pendant for room and      bed lighting and blind control     Easy to install with silent operation       Two individually con trolled relays IP Dual Relay    The IP Dual Relay allows patients to control lighting and blinds    from  the  comfort  of  their  bed  using  any  of  Austco’s    entertainment  handsets  or  pendants.  For  maximum    flexibility, the Dual Relay can be used to switch any connected    device from any callpoint on the system.    An  integrated  buzzer  sounds  when  the  Dual  Relay  is    connected  to  a  Room  Controller,  giving  the  installer    reassurance  that  the  device  is  has  been  detected  and  is    functioning. Change‐over contacts allow each relay contact to    be wired in a two‐way lighting circuit.     Lower “Whole‐of‐Life” Costs     The  Dual  Relay  is  IP‐based  and  features  plug‐and‐play   functionality.  Dual  Relays  are  typically  installed  in  the patient’s  room  and connected  in  series  using  only  standard  Connects to the Roo m Controller Cat5/6 cable that also provides POIPnet (Power Over IPnet).     Each Dual Relay has a unique address that is used to identify   the device on the Room Controller Interface. Once connected,   the device is quickly and easily assigned to an input or lighting control on a patient handset using a browser, which simplifies the  process  and  reduces  the  cost  of  installation  and commissioning. The system continuously checks the functionality of each Dual Relay  and  immediately  notifies  maintenance  staff  if  any   problem is detected. Dual Relays are hot swappable, making maintenance a breeze – simply replace a Dual Relay and then use a browser to configure the device.   Individual Control  There  are  two  sets  of  relay  contacts  that  are  individually  controlled  from  callpoint  or  pendant  buttons  via  the  Room  Controller.  The  relays  are  designed  for  inductive  or  resistive  AC loads up to 250 volts at 8 amps.   Additionally, the relay outputs may be programmed for either  continuous  operation  such  as  opening  and  closing blinds  or  for toggle based operations such as turning lights on and off.     www.austco.com
