DELAY Contact number: OD: Day-to-day operation 02-1371681/85 Instruction • OD will inform crew at home, if flight delays 1 hour or more from STD, with the condition that OD receives information in advance and has enough time to call. • The delay of arriving flight, if it is 3 hours or more from STA, OD will inform crew family if home number has been registered. • In case of delay after crew checked in, P-i-C is has full authority to decide, whether the crew should go to the hotel or return home. • If the delay is less than 4 hours, crew rest area is available at OPC (cockpit crew on the 4th floor, and cabin crew on the 3rd floor). • Relative of crew are welcome to contact OD for information regarding flight-delay. They must state crew name/personal number before an enquiry. Crew personal information is strictly confidential. Taxi-fare allowance A fixed-taxi-fare of 300 THB will be paid for crew members accordingly ; • Rush call for a flight : if crew is requested to fly on day off and call time is less than 3 hrs. prior to STD. • Flight cancellation or change of the aircraft type : if the irregularity is announced later than 4 hours prior to STD and crew has not been informed in advance. • Flight cancellation : after check–in time. 8. CREW TRAVEL DOCUMENT 8.1 Passport • Crew members must hold passport with validity of at least 6 months before leaving the country. • Any changes in passport must notify OD in appropriate time ; 48 hours in advance for flights to AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND, USA and 24 hours for other flights. • Notify to OD by ; - Submiting a copy of new passport with personal number and rank to OD staff during 0800-1700 daily. - Submitting a copy of new passport with personal number and rank via email to [email protected] and call to confirm the submission at 02-1371704-9, 02-1371697. Disciplinary actions shall be imposed on the crew member who fails to notify BKKOD in a timely manner because it concerns to the immigration problem and the airline trustworthiness at the destination. CREW PROCEDURE BANGKOK / BKK 8.2 Personal data • The change of name and surname must respectively be reported to: 1. HR Service Center for both cockpit and cabin crew 2. OD for both cockpit and cabin crew Tel. 02-13 71704/09 (to register new data in AIRCREWS ** very important) Tel. 02-545 2568, or 2561 3. OZ-G for cockpit crew 4. QV-3 for cabin crew Tel. 02-13 71924 (to update crew data and crew certificate) ** If found incomplete document after flight departure, OD will assign the crew to passive same plane back to Bangkok. However, if the aircraft stays overnight and the crew is not allowed to pass immigration formality then it will be the crew’s responsibility to stay at transit hotel on his/her own expense. It is the Security Measure that travel documents must be updated and valid at all time, especially, the flights required APP (Advance Passenger Processing) or APIS (Advance Passenger Information System). The fine will be 5,000 USD/per head and 75,000 USD/per flight, or 11,000 AUD, and 500,000 JPY. The crew will be responsible for the fine if found any mismatched personal data of the passport. • The change of crew contact: address and telephone number. Fill in the “Crew Contact Address Form” and submit to OD. 9. CREW SCHEDULE EXCHANGE Automatic Schedule Exchange program is set up in the AIRCREWS System and the remote access is provided through the internet website at https://vpn.thaiairways.com. How to access the system a) “SIGN ON” the AIRCREW System. b) Fill in both parties’ personal data: personnel number/ password/ period of flight duty. c) Select the button according to the guidelines on the first page, the flights will be displayed on the screen. d) Wait until Approved appears on the screen. e) “SIGN OFF” after the exchange is completed. CREW PROCEDURE BANGKOK / BKK Rules and regulations for cockpit crew 1. Require 48 hours in advance. 2. The length of the exchange must not longer than 28 days. 3. Referring to Duty Regulations, it is not allowed to have 5 consecutive days off; the sixth day must be assigned standby. 4. Flight duty and ground duty cannot be assigned over 6 days in a role. 5. Block hour must not exceed 34 hours in any 7 consecutive days. 6. The minimum rest period for regional and domestic flights shall be at least 12 hours. 7. For regional flight arrived BKK after 19.00 lt., it is allowable to fly next day with flight activity that is not earlier than 12.00 lt. 8. The exchange must not affect the forthcoming schedule prepared by OL. 9. Trainees are not allowed to exchange flights. 10. Instructor pilot under training period can only exchange within the same category. Rules and regulations for cabin crew 1. Require 48 hours in advance. 2. The period of each exchange must not exceed 28 days. 3. Continuous days off must not exceed 5 days. On day sixth, crew will be assigned for flight duty or standby duty. 4. Continuous flight and ground duties must not exceed 6 days 5. Accountable block hrs. must not exceed 34 hours in any 7 consecutive days 6. For regional and domestic flights the minimum rest period shall be at least 12 hours. If flights from regional route arriving in BKK after 1900 lt., the next flight duty will not be earlier than 1200LT of the next day. 7. The exchange must not affect the forthcoming schedule prepared by OL. 8. The maximum block times per month must not exceed or less than 15 hours from original block times per month. 9. Trainees are not allowed to exchange flights. 10. The exchange allows only for crew of the same nationality and category It is not permitted to exchange scheduled flights with: 1. VVIP flight 2. CUSTOMS REGULATIONS (www.iatatravelcentre.com/TH-Thailand-customs-currency-airport-tax-regulations-detail) Free import • 200 cigarettes or 25g of tobacco • 1 litre of alcohol • Non-commercial amount of gifts and other items for personal use of up to 10,000 local currency (Baht) Prohibited • Narcotics and other controlled substances • Pornography • Counterfeit items • Goods with Thai flag on them • Fake Royal or other Official seals • Copyright infringing items • Local currency (more than 50,000 baht) Restricted • Live animals • Plants, foodstuff and seeds • Weaponry and ammunition • Medication • Foreign currency Customs Restrictions for Crew Members The crew members have to abide by the following customs restrictions for personal effects: • Valuable articles such as branded name bags or watches, where the price is more than 10,000 THB, the crew members must pay the necessary tax to the Customs. • Crew members must declare to the respective customs officer, for tax purpose, those taxable items mentioned above, before such items are found in his/her baggage during the x-ray process. Failure to declare will be against the respective customs laws and regulations. • All personal effects and gifts shall be of a personal nature and non-commercial quantities, if not, the necessary tax must be paid to the Customs. • Import of preserved foodstuff, fresh food – no tax exemption • Import of supplementary products and cosmetics – import permit required Issue2/ 26DEC2017 Page 15/19

RESTRICTION OF LIQUID, AEROSOLS AND GELS (LAGs) • LAGs must be carried in containers with a capacity no greater than 100 ml. • Containers must be placed in a transparent re-sealable plastic bag with a maximum capacity not exceeding 1 litre. 12. CREW PROCEDURE BANGKOK / BKK 12.2 Limousine Service to residence Details for Limousine service : This service is the benefit given by the company on safety basis to accommodate crew members whose flights arrive late at night only on the following conditions: • The actual of flights arrival (on block) between 21:00- 05:00 lt. • The scheduled flights according to TPI arrive in BKK at 05:00 lt. and delay arrival not later than 05:30 lt. • The red-eye flight that departs at night and arrives early in the morning. Instruction : • IM or AP prepares voucher for limousine service, one voucher for each limousine. • Maximum of 5 limousines for intercontinental flight, 4 limousines for regional flight, and 3 limousines for domestic flight. This is under P-i-C consideration. • It is expected that each limousine shall accommodate 2 persons whose residences are in the same direction. • The voucher must be acknowledged and signed by P-i-C of the flight. • Submit the voucher to the dispatch at limousine service counter on 1st floor of Building A2 for limousine arrangement.
