I: Introduction Science month is celebrated every September pursuant to the Presidential Proclamation no 28. It is a month-long celebration wherein science enthusiasts are enjoined to observe. This year’s theme is “Science for the People: Liberating Education through Innovation”. Science Month celebration seeks to demonstrate to the pupils and teachers the importance and relevance of science to the future development of our society and economy. It seeks to offer great range of events and activities that will motivate people to engage with science at home, in the classroom and at work. Science can help to answer the what, the why and the how, while also revealing new questions. It is a problem-solver, helping to crack everyday challenges. Science Month is an opportunity to investigate what is possible. II. Objectives 1. Manifest awareness on the importance of celebrating “Science Month”. 2. Provide opportunities for the learners and teachers engage into productive, meaningful and effective activities that promote awareness, interest and involvement of everyone in science and technology. 3. Harness the knowledge, skills and values of science leaders, teachers, coordinators and science enthusiasts to cope with and apply the developments and advancements in science. 4. Show cooperation, sportsmanship and camaraderie on pupils in every contest they participate in 5. Appreciate learners’ outputs/performances that show significant impact in everyday lives.

PARADE & OPENING PROGRAM The Science month celebration started with a parade last September 4, 2018 at exactly 7:00 in the morning where candidates participated to represent their respective grade level. After the parade, the celebration was formally opened with the message of Mr. Roni P. Sapad, Science Coordinator stressing the month-long program of the activities.

ROBO-FLOAT PARADE Each grade level prepared their own Robo-float made up of recycled materials and was showcased during the kick-off parade of Science month celebration.

SCIENTIST LOOK-A-LIKE Kinder and primary pupils with their costume as future scientist.

IMPROVISATION Pupils enhance their creativity in creating new products out of non-biodegradable materials.

SCIE-JINGLE RAP Primary and Intermediate pupils showcase their talents by composing their lyrics that promotes awareness on environmental issues.

CULMINATING PROGRAM Mr. June Ryan Macarandan and Ms. Jocel Serano the tandem duo hosted the culminating program. Mr. Roni P. Sapad delivers his opening remarks.

Selected pupils from grade 2-SSC perform a cultural presentation as intermission number during the Science Culminating Activity held last October 2, 2018.

AWARDING OF WINNERS Mrs. Fe Dagon announces the winners in the various contest during the science month celebration awarded by the master teachers in all grade level.
