“Batang Aktibo, Batang Matalino”
To give break to the monotony of the learners’ daily routines like listening, answering quiz- zes, copying and the like, the grade three teaching force headed by Mr. Melvin G. Evardone as Activity Head with the guidance of their Master Teachers planned and implemented a set of culmi- nating activities for the pupils to enjoy. The activities were subdivided into two parts: The stage presentations and the stations’ tasks. After the friendly reminder from one of the Master Teachers of the grade, each presentation was watched and applauded by the parents and pupils, some can’t help but join the songs and dances of the participants. Part two was all applications as they were given chances to be a part of the show and chal- lenges of each station. The “Flip Bottle” to make it stand, needs balance of force and mass. Mathinik will exercise the brain and agility if your answer is correct. Friction Rug Relay, without using your arms to support you, how far can you reach using your butt. Fit Me In, is gymnastics in nature since it required body bending and balance. Feast your eyes with the images of the heroes through the photographic transformation done by our pupils. Everyone was mesmirized by the simple and DIY inventions of the young grade 3 scientists. Time, materials and application of your know-how is all that each one need to make it hap- pen.
