Overnight in Saigon. Breakfast SAIGON CITY TOUR & SHOPPING DAY 3 You will start the morning city tour with a visit to the Reunification Palace Guide (Ex-Presidential Palace) which was built in 1962 and is well-known as an Breakfast outstanding example of 1960’s architecture, Center Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral (to watch the French architecture buildings built during the French colonial times. In the afternoon, you will continue Saigon shopping tour at big shopping malls for the international brands and high quality Vietnamese brands, Saigon Square (for International brands made in Vietnam clothes, this is where local people go to buy), and Ben Thanh Market – a symbol of Saigon. After this last destination, you can go back to hotel or enjoy at the market as it is center-located and get back to the hotel on your own. There are many halal restaurants nearby the market, there is one very good bar right on the left of the market (OMG bar) and all the good restaurants are around with 1-2-3 dollars by taxi you can reach from the market. Back to hotel. Overnight in Saigon. SAIGON – MEKONG DELTA – SAIGON Depart Saigon for My Tho (located in the heart of the Mekong Delta). Upon your arrival in My Tho, take a boat on the Mekong River and its multiple canals to Ben Tre. Visit a coco candy factory where you can taste 3
DAY 4 the unique local specialties. After enjoying honey tea and fresh tropical Guide fruits in a local garden, enjoy a short local coach drive before a very Breakfast romantic sampan through a water coconut forest to return to your big boat. Back to Saigon for relax. Overnight in Saigon. DAY 5 Guide SAIGON – CU CHI – HANOI Breakfast Take a visit Cu Chi tunnels – an immense network of connecting underground tunnels used by Vietnamese Revolutionary army during the DAY 6 anti-American resistance war with over 200km long and 12m deep. The Guide tunnels served as hiding spots, communication and supply routes, Breakfast hospitals, food and weapon caches and living quarters for numerous North Vietnamese fighters. You will be well guided to discover this DAY 7 amazing tunnel with unforgettable feelings. Guide Breakfast Transfer to the airport for domestic flight to Hanoi. Arrive at Noi Bai Lunch airport. HANOI CITY TOUR & SHOPPING Pick up and transfer to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex – an important place of pilgrimage for all Vietnamese. View outside of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum – where embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh is preserved. Continue to Ho Chi Minh's House on Stilts – built in the style of Vietnam's ethnic minorities, surrounded by verdant and peaceful gardens, One Pillar Pagoda – first built in the 11th century, of wood on a single stone pillar resembling a lotus blossom, symbol of purity, rising out of a sea of sorrow. Next place to visit is Museum of Ethnology – one of the must-visit destinations in Hanoi, which gives an insight into Vietnam's diverse culture of the 54 ethnic groups. The sightseeing goes on to Hanoi Opera House, the largest European-style theatre in Vietnam. It was built by the French in 1911 and renovated in the late 1990s. This magnificent and appealing artwork carries special history and architecture value and remains as one of Hanoi’s cultural centers where art shows, cultural activities and other international events usually take place. Transfer to shopping malls with international brands and high quality Vietnamese brands, some big shops with Made in Vietnam clothes where local people are regular; lacquer workshop (great traditional Vietnamese handicraft products). Back to hotel. Overnight in Hanoi. HANOI – NINH BINH – HANOI Pick up and transfer to Hoa Lu – the ancient citadel of 3km2 – to visit the temples dedicated to Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang of the Dinh dynasty (968- 980), and Emperor Le Dai Hanh of the Le dynasty (980-1009). Continue to have a boat ride in Trang An – an ecological tourist site where the rowing boat brings you through many amazingly nature blessed caves and rice fields. Back to hotel. Overnight in Hanoi. HANOI – HA LONG – HANOI Prepare your energy and your camera for a long day to the famous World Heritage site. Depart from Hanoi in the morning and arrive at the scenic Ha Long Bay area around noon. From here you will board a charming 4
DAY 8 traditional wooden junk for the afternoon cruise. The mystical landscape Guide is where over 3,000 limestone rock islands with sheer vertical sides and topped with thick jungle vegetation rise out of the emerald sea. The wind, Breakfast rain and sea have carved out dramatic caves and grottoes in some of the islands that can be explored. Many have been named after the shape of the rocks such as Stone Dog, Incense Burner (Dinh Huong) and Fighting Cock (Ga Choi). At the core of the islets, you will visit a wonderful grotto named Thien Cung (Heavenly Residence Grotto) before returning to Ha Long pier. Disembark at Ha Long pier and return to Hanoi.
