ARCHIVED : Monday, November 9, 2020 Professional Learning Survey 2020-2021 In order to best meet your needs, The Office of Professional Learning is requesting that all campus employees, with the exception of custodial and cafeteria, complete a short survey. Your feedback will help develop the catalog for January intersession, summer professional learning, new teacher focus groups and Tech Tuesdays. To ensure anonymity, the survey will not capture your email address. However, if you request one-on-one support, you will be asked to enter your name at the end of the survey so that the appropriate group can contact you. If you are not requesting one-on-one support, SKIP the question about your first and last name. The survey will close on Friday, November 20, 2020. EVERY CCISD employee has an account. Getting Started Click here to access video (2 min) There are 3 ways to access Omni Track: 1 . Portal-District-wide Options (All users) 2. Canvas Backpack (Canvas users) 3. Direct Link : https://apps.esc1.net/ProfessionalDevelopment/ccisd Logging In: Click here to access video (3 min) Username and password are your “active directory” credentials. In an effort to keep things simple, we have programmed the username and passwords to align to what you use to get into your computer daily. ARCHIVED: Monday, February 1, 2021 Teacher Incentive Allotment Thank you to everyone who participated in either the “Teacher” or “Stakeholder” Teacher Incentive Allotment Survey. CCISD will submitting an application to TEA as part of Cohort D. A team consisting of teachers (Core, Elective, CTE, SPED), principals (ES, MS, HS), and District staff have been working on the local designation system since December 2020. The work of this team will be shared with the District Advisory Team (DAT) prior to submitting formal application to TEA for approval. For more information about the Teacher Incentive Allotment, please visit www.TIATexas.org. RESOURCES: Campus Allocation by distinction level (Set by TEA) HB 3 in 30 TIA Series A link has also been added on the Professional Learning Canvas Hub

ARCHIVED Monday, February 1, 2021 Teacher Incentive Allotment FAQ’s Who is eligible to participate in TIA? By definition, any classroom teacher. We are seeking clarification on Reading Interventionists and Instructional Coaches. Does campus location have anything to do with the amount generated for TIA? Yes, higher need campuses generate larger funding amounts. See resources for a complete campus breakdown. When will teachers learn more about the process? The application submitted to TEA will be shared stakeholders so that there is a clear understanding of the expectations for each designation level. The Office of Professional Learning will post information on their Canvas hub and CCISD Communications will share information both internally and eternally in a timely manner. The TIA website is also a great place to learn more about the TIA process. How long does the designation remain on SBEC Certificate? The designation lasts for 5 years. What system components are required in the grant? Teacher Observation and Student Performance/Growth. T-TESS will be the instrument used for the teacher observation component and the student performance component is being determined at the next TIA Planning meeting,

A reminder for those who completed the remote check-in and payment verification process, Intersession 2 payroll will post to February 26th paychecks. ARCHIVED Monday, December 14, 2020 Sign in Override Form (DMAC - Formworks) In an effort to streamline documentation of professional development participation any participant who does not register and check in on time will be asked to complete a form found in DMAC. It is very important to be able to provide evidence of participation when funds are being used to pay participants for their off-contract extra duty services. This form can be found in DMAC Tools, specifically - Formworks. The name of the form is Sign in Override for Omni Track

We currently have 41% completion of surveys which equates to 1,026 responses. Our goal is to have 100% completion. Together, we can make this happen. ARCHIVED - Monday, November 16, 2020 Omni Track : The Big 3 (Workshop process) REGISTER, CHECK-IN and EVALUATE 1. Register - After registering for a course you will receive a confirmation email with any special instructions that may apply to your course. 2. Check-in - There are 2 ways that CCISD is using. a. Remote check in - Participants are given a code that can be entered from any personal device. The window to check in begins 15 minutes before the session and ends 15 minutes after the session. b. Pin check-in - You will receive a copy of your pin number in the confirmation email. (last 4 numbers of your employee ID number) This is only used for face to face training when the presenter has a single device set-up for check-in. Putting your name in the Zoom chat box is not “checking-in” 3. Evaluate - The evaluation will open up 15 minutes before the end of the session. Upon completion of the evaluation, participants will be granted credit and a certificate will appear in their portfolio. Pending evaluations will hinder ability to register for other courses.
