The Qira’at Category tested thedifferent grades on their memorization of selected Suwaar from Juz Amma. The Hifz Category was opento all grades and was based on memorization of selected Juz.Judges from all over Toronto attended the competition to judge our young Qurrah. Their beautifulrecitations resonated throughout the day and the attendants witnessed the ‘tranquility and mercy’ thatsurrounded the event that day. A special thanks goes out to the Shuyukh, Imam Refaat Mohamed andMustafa Khattab, who not only judged and encouraged the students during the competition but alsoended the afternoon with a beautiful recitation of the Holy Qur’an.
