The agreement was signed by the Chairman of Kuwait Airways, Captain Ali Al-Dukhan, representing Kuwait Airways and by the President of Airbus for Africa and Middle East, Mr. Mikail Houari as representative of Airbus, and in the presence of the President of Civil Aviation, Sheikh Abdullah Ali Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah, the Ambassador of Germany to the State of Kuwait, HE Stefan Mobbs, the Ambassador of the Republic of France to the State of Kuwait, HE Claire Le Flecher, Board Members of Kuwait Airways, the Chief Executive Officer, Engineer Maen Razouqi, and various senior officials and Heads of the Company.

General Announcements KUWAIT AIRWAYS ORGANIZES A FORUM ON THE OCCASION OF ‘WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH’ AND TITLED ‘WOMEN OF AVIATION’ Kuwait Airways organized a forum on the occasion of the ‘Women’s History Month’ titled ‘Women of Aviation’ with a panel discussion and hosted the Kuwait Airways’ Chief Executive Officer, Eng. Maen Razouqi, Director of Legal department, Mrs. Nada Bourahmah, Aviation Engineer, Maali Salmeen, and the Vice President of KAC’s Workers Union, Captain Abdullah Al-Ali. The seminar was attended by numerous women employees of the Company, embodying the spirit of one family, love and understanding among all. Razouqi was attentive to the opinions and aspirations of the female employees of Kuwait Airways, as well as their ambitions and future plans for the National Carrier to attain greater progress, in all realms that would lead to the success of the work system within the Company. 4 Zajil - April - May 2022
KUWAIT AIRWAYS CHAIRS THE AIRLINE OPERATORS COMMITTEE (AOC) Kuwait Airways has been elected to head the Airline Operators Committee (AOC) at Kuwait International Airport through the voting of the members of the committee via electronic links in its regular electoral session for the year 2022. The members of the committee elected Mazyad Al-Mutairi, the Assistant Director of Ground Handling Department at Kuwait International Airport (representing Kuwait Airways) as the Chairman for a period of one year, while Dani Abi Oli was elected as first Vice-Chairman (representing Etihad Airways) and Mohammad Al- Hariri as the second Vice-Chairman (representing Saudi Airlines). KUWAIT AIRWAYS ORGANIZES VISIT TO FARAH SPECIALIST CENTER FOR THE ELDERLY A delegation from Kuwait Airways visited the Farah Specialist Center for the Care and Rehabilitation of the Elderly of the Ministry of Social Affairs, which was organized in coordination with the center’s Department of Public Activities and Media. The delegation presented gifts to the elderly at the Farah Specialist Center, which was in conjunction and celebration of the Women’s History Month, there by strengthening generational ties and bringing happiness and contentment to those present at the Center. The visit of the Kuwait Airways delegation to the Farah Center is part of its tireless efforts and commitment to implement its strategy and programs related to social responsibility as well as to enhance its responsibilities towards the society, especially during significant occasions. General Announcements KUWAIT AIRWAYS RECEIVES IOSA CERTIFICATE RENEWAL FROM IATA Kuwait Airways announced the renewal of the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), an accredited international evaluation system designed to assess the operational management and control systems of airlines. KAC constituted a committee comprising of five departments including the Operational Safety & ERP, Operations, Ground Handling and Cargo, Engineering and Security departments who functioned to carry out this audit and to apply it in accordance with the standards of IATA. KAC added that the Operational Safety and ERP Department accomplished this audit with extraordinary efficiency and professionalism, noting its keenness on constantly improving and developing its operational system in accordance with international safety standards for airlines and air transport.
