Designed in collaboration with President Roosevelt and sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens, depicting Lady Liberty striding forward on the obverse and a breathtaking eagle in fligh on the reverse. Liberty Head $20 Double Eagle Born in the era of the great California Gold Rush (1850-1866). The $20 Liberty Head was one of the largest circulating gold coins. The coins were produced at the Philadelphia Mint from 1850 through 1865, at the New Orleans mint from 1850 through 1861, and the San Francisco Mint from 1854 through 1866. The San Francisco coins of 1866 were the last of the design and were also issued as part of the type 2 series with the new motto IN GOD WE TRUST. Indian Head $10 Eagle Regular issued coins were struck at all three Mints (P, D, and S) from 1908 through 1911, and again in 1914. Only Philadelphia and San Francisco Mints struck eagles in 1912, 1913, and 1915. Only San Francisco Mint struck them in 1916 and 1920. The portrait of Liberty seen on coins of this type originally was designed by sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens as a bust of the Nike head used on New York City’s monument to General William T. Sherman. At the request of President Roosevelt, Saint-Gaudens adapted this splendid bust for the $10 piece with the addition of a Native American headdress. Liberty Head $5 One of the longest lasting denominations in United States history. Half eagles would go on to see almost continuous production from 1795 to 1929, and throughout their life, they would not only be used in trade, but – in preference to almost any other gold coin – would popularly be found in Christmas stockings! The obverse design features Liberty’s hair tied in a bun and secured by a string of beads. She wears a coronet in her hair inscribed with the word LIBERTY. Liberty Head $2.5 Issued in 1840 through 1907 the Coronet quarter eagle was struck at fiv different mints: Philadelphia (no mint mark), Charlotte (C), Dahlonega (D), New Orleans (O), and San Francisco (S). Throughout this series of gold coins there are some with legendary status, as well as a large number of dates or mint marks with scarce issues. Type III Indian Princess Gold Dollar First made its appearance in 1849 at a mere thirteen millimeters in diameter. This was more than one-fourth smaller than our present day Roosevelt dime! This caused many American’s to grumble as losing a dollar back then represented losing a day’s pay. In 1856, the mint created the Type III $1 coin with a larger, flatte portrait. The coin features a female figu e commonly described as an “Indian Princess”. Type I Liberty Head $1 Introduced in 1849 and the California gold rush provided the spark. During their six years of production, Type 1 gold dollars were struck at fiv different mints - Philadelphia (no mint mark), Charlotte (C), Dahlonega (D), New Orleans (O), and San Francisco (S) – but only the Philadelphia and Dahlonega mints issued them every year. San Francisco made them only in 1854, while Charlotte and New Orleans made them every year except 1854. ASK CYOUER ROPETRAITOFRIAEBODUT GOLD COINS!

This special collection has coins that range from the obscure issues, such as the 100 Kurush from Turkey and the 20 Korona from Hungary to the widely known and very popular European Gold coins, the British Sovereign and the French Angel. The stories and myth surrounding some of these coins are very intriguing. The “Lucky Gold Angel “myth for this French coin comes from a fantastic story. Set to lose his head to the guillotine during the French Revolution, Augustin Dupres was spared by a bolt of lightning which startled the executioner and delayed the execution. He later received a stay and credited his life to an angel coin he had in his pocket. Later, Napoleon Bonaparte carried an early angel coin in his pocket on military campaigns, losing his coin the night before Frances devastating loss at the Battle of Waterloo. Great Britain Gold Sovereign coins have been issued in the modern era since 1817. The Great Recoinage act of 1816 resulted in the reintroduction of the gold sovereign for the first time in more than two centuries and the coins remain available from the Royal Mint to collectors today. The Gold Sovereign of George V is a very timely addition to this unique collection. As you know George V is Queen Elizabeth II’s grandfather. The obverse of the Sovereign has the profile of the George V while the reverse displays the symbolic depiction of St. George Slaying the Dragon. This historic collection of European gold coins comes to you in a custom made museum quality presentation case with all fifteen coins certified by NGC as brilliant uncirculated. And the best part is that you don’t have to pay for all fifteen coins at one time. This iconic collection is available to CSN preferred customers as a continuity were you get one coin a month for fifteen months for only $699.95 plus shipping and handling. We have a limited number of these complete collections available, so start your collection today! 20
44 Years of Mint Sets 1965-2008 499Item#$ .95 031275 Since 1947, the United States Mint has created annual sets of uncirculated coins for collectors known as Mint Sets. These popular sets provide collectors with one example of each coin issued for circulation. Amidst a few interruptions and several changes in format, this popular offering for collectors continues to the present day. Some sets are particularly noteworthy since they contain coins not issued for circulation. This includes the 1970 Mint Set, which includes the 1970-D Kennedy Half dollar, and later sets issued in 1973 and 1981 that include non-circulating dollar coins. The 1996 Mint Set included the 1996-W Roosevelt Dime struck at the West Point Mint. A coin found only in the 50th anniversary of the coin series. From 2005 to 2010, the United States Mint has used a special satin nish for coins included in the annual Mint Set. Along with particularly low mintage, this adds another unique aspect to the sets. 2009-2016 Mint Sets in Mint Packaging 329Item#$ .95 033066 The perfect addition to your 44 years of Mint Sets collection.
