Secret Santa @ ZAFCO, DubaiTo celebrate Christmas and to welcome New year at our Head Office, all employee participatedin Secret Santa game to anonymously surprise their fellow colleagues with presents and lotsof warm wishes.A Promise of Hope: Pink DayThe Zafconians @ ZAFCO, Dubai joined together to create awareness about breast cancer andto show support towards this cause by donning Pink color and PINK RIBBON.The pink colorstands for unconditional love and understanding and is associated with giving and receivingcare. In color psychology, pink is a sign of hope. It is a positive color that inspires warm andcomforting feelings. Pink gives the feeling that everything will go well or be okay. Most peoplehave heard the saying “Everything is rosy” as it indicates good health and success.It also symbolizes the wearer or promoter with the brand and expresses moral support forwomen with breast cancer.

Zafconians 46th UAE National DayZafconians celebrated this day every year to show respect to the nation which brought all ofus together to pursue our dreams and to be a part of this amazing ZAFCO family. Ourcolleagues from diverse parts of the world shared their feelings for this special day and anexclusive video was prepared by us with our employees being a part of the 46th UAE NationalDay and was uploaded on our ZAFCO YouTube channel.Armstrong launch @ SEMA showArmstrong launched a brand-new line of Passenger & Light Truck tires at the 2017 SEMA Showin Las Vegas. The launch booth was a success, especially the Stuff-Your-Tuffy Station wherevisitors could build their own custom Tuffy the Rhino and pose with him. Tuffy was the star ofthe show!Thanks to everyone who visited us.

ZAFCO Booth @ SEMA showZAFCO showcased the Accelera & Forceum brands at the 2017 SEMA Show in Las Vegas fromOct 31st to Nov 3rd.Thanks to everyone who came to our booth to see us!Pirelli @ -800TYREZPirelli Launched its mobile tire service van as “-800TYREZ”. Massive on-air promotions (RadioAds/ Campaigns) were run to attract customers and to endorse that :“ Wait at a tire shop is no more a tension, Pirelli’s mobile van offers On-door service”.Live radio campaigns on UAE radio shows such as Kris Fade and Exit 99 including giveawayswere part of promotional activity. The winners won gift vouchers from Supercarz Abu Dhabiand Al Alin. Pirelli and Supercarz at Marina Mall Abu DhabiAfter a successful radio campaign, Super Carz collaborated with Pirelli again for a groundactivation in Marina Mall, Abu Dhabi to display the mobile tire van: 800-TYREZ, to the public.Along with our Mobile van, we had a Pirelli F1 car on display. The activation was a 4-day eventfrom 25th October to 28th October with the days filled with family fun, games and prizes.The fun games were held @ our kiosk such as “Shoot To Win prizes” which had more than 450visitors registering their vehicle details to try their luck at winning prizes for Supercarz AbuDhabi and Al Alain. To capitalize on Virgin Radio listeners’ reach we invited Kris Fade and theVirgin team to host our event on the 27th Oct, and even got some endorsements from Kris fadeand Virgin Radio on their social media pages.2018 Gala @ ZIPLZafco India bid the good-bye to 2017 in style bytreating Zafconians at Barbeque Nation, Bangalore,India. The gala was termed as “A joint icebreakercum new year program” and included differentIndian starters and drinks which was then followedby a sumptuous buffet as a first casual get-togetherfor our Banglore office staff.After dinner, all ZIPL employees gathered for a cakecutting ceremony which was arranged by therestaurant staff and the same was distributed to allwho came to celebrate the New Year 2018.

November 9th marks the startof ZIPL (ZAFCO INDIA)The journey of ZIPL started on November 9th, 2017 at Bangalore, India.The new joiners were given an overview about ZAFCO which included business ventures,acquisitions, Jvs and other storming achievements over the past 25 years. The orientation wasfollowed by Mr. Fazal, Operation Head who gave employees an insight into the Supply chainmodalities and distribution centers of ZAFCO and our future plans.A welcome message from Mr. Zafar was also screened at the conference room, along with aninspiring video about the importance of Teamwork. The big day was ended on a thanking noteas a motivation for the employees.It’s the season to be jolly @ZIPLChristmas party at ZIPL was held on 22nd December 2017. The chief guest for the party wasMr. Ahn Heese (Group COO). The team ZIPL welcomed him with a bouquet. Mr. Fazal, Head ofOperations hosted this grand celebration.The party put our employees in a festive mood of welcoming the New years.

ZAFCO - UAE - Gold Medal of Excellence in CSRZafco achieved Gold medal of Excellence in The 3rd Regional Forum in its 13th Edition and theGrand Ceremonies of the Golden Excellence Awards in the Field of Social Responsibilityorganized by Arab Organization of Social Responsibility on 6th December 2017 at Roda AlBustan Dubai, UAE.Our CFO – Rishi Vig presented company’s portfolio and briefed about our CSR activitiesinvolvement in the year 2017. Award was received by COO – Mr. Ahn He See, SVP LocalSales- Syed Zafar Abbas Jafri and HCM Manager – Maria Alvi.Zafco was among 10 companies in GCC region who have achieved the award and amongst 3in UAE along with Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority and Abu Dhabi Water and ElectricityAuthority.Employees Day out @ ZAFCOThe Service Staff had visited Yas Water World on 13th October 2017. The event was held forthe service staff level employees of Zafco and Z Degree. Overall there were about 135employees. There was a lot of fun, adventure, games and other water activities for theemployees along with a buffet lunch. It was all action day comprising 43 rides and waterpools.The favorite ride was Sebag as it is a combination of fear and delight. It’s only a few seconds

of lift which could either be your best or your worst. There was also the roller coaster ridecalled bandit Bomber – a one of a kind ride that will keep you hanging; a longest suspendedroller coaster for 550 meters !!. And finally, there is the Slither Alley; its sharp snake-like slidesturns (some in pitch dark) were very exciting.It was an unforgettable experience and rich memories for the year 2017.TBR fitment survey-WinterThe winter TBR fitment survey was done from 10th to 14th December 2017 in different Emiratesof the UAE, such as Ras Al Khaimah, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. The objective of this surveywas to determine the market shares of TBR segment in UAE and to identity the opportunitiesfor improvement. The total number of trucks inspected were 2,100.Tire care tip It is very important to periodically check the inflation pressure. This has to be done only when the tires are in cold condition. Never reduce of adjusting inflation pressure when tires are hot from running. Make sure to use accurate pressure gauges. Always screw a valve cap after adjusting inflation pressure. These valve caps help in preventing dirt and dust from entering the valve, thereby damaging valve pin which may lead to slow leakage of air.
