["The Origin of Watermonkey! By: Ny’Asisa Mercer Watermonkey could not believe what she saw through her window. It was the zookeeper standing looking around with a gun in his hand. Oh no, she thought to herself. What am I going to do? The zookeeper looked as if he was planning to break into her base. She had to think fast. She decided to be strong and stand up to the mean zookeeper. He had already destroyed her tree where her and her family once lived. She was not going to let him do the same thing in her new home she created for herself. She got up the strength and courage to swim out ready to fight with her powers! When the zookeeper saw her charging out without fear he tried to swim away quickly. Watermonkey swam right after him. When he stopped, watermonkey used her water powers to trap him so that he couldn’t run anymore. They started fighting! The zookeeper thought he was going to defeat watermonkey. He trapped her in his net. Suddenly, she felt enraged and began to feel more powerful like she had gotten power from other monkeys, she broke free, and she looked different too, she had a blue gem headband and nine tails. The zookeeper couldn’t believe what had just happened. He became afraid, looking around trying to figure out what to do next. Watermonkey caused a gush of water to overtake the zookeeper which carried him away. He was later washed up to the shore. He couldn’t believe that he was still alive. He thought to himself this isn’t over I will get you water monkey! Watermonkey was happy that she stood up for herself. She continued to live happily under the water until she went out to shore and met two more monkeys that were different just like her. They had their own unique and special powers. They became good friends and decided to fight off the mean zookeeper together.","One Chance To Be A Man - Paperback A true story. The struggle of a little boy becoming a man. TN She loves being around family and friends. Latoya attended Springfield Schools, she was a high school dropout. She dropped out her Junior year. That held her back for many years. Latoya married at the age of 24 and later divorced a few years later. After that heartbreak Latoya decided to go back to get her GED, she didn't stop there! She was looking to find her way in life. And one day she realized her talent and gifts from within. Latoya turned to God and asked God to lead her and to lay the path for her life to provide for her and her two sons. She realized catering and decorating was a passion and a talent. And she loves it! It had been in her family for many years. Her Grandfather was the first African American in Robertson (Springfield) to have his own catering service and food truck. Her parents owned a restaurant in Springfield and Latoya helped out there a lot and just loved it. Helping her aunt for many years catering and decorating, Latoya decided to step out on Faith! After being told she would never amount to anything in life, that PUSHED her to become the woman she is today. She started her own catering and decorating service in 2011. Latoya knew it was something more than just the love for catering and decorating. God had a purpose for Latoya and that was to help other women overcome broken relationships and fear. Latoya again stepped out on Faith and listened to God's will and plan for her life. She started a women’s group called WOP- Women Of Peace to help other women overcome brokenness. She went to ICU Academy and became a certified life coach and became a 3 times best selling author in the book Broken Crayons Still Color and two other best selling books. Epperson I was born and raised in the countryside of a small city in West TN. As a child, I spent most of my time at my relative’s homes, while my parents went to work. This will either be my paternal grandparents, aunts, uncles, or cousins, whomever was available at the time. On weekends, I spent time traveling to my maternal grandmother’s house to go to church and spend time with my family. At all locations I gathered information quickly and absorbed everything around me. The main thing I’ve gathered is that I knew I wanted freedom to do what I wanted to do, specifically having time freedom to spend it how I would like to. My mom’s job required her to work different shifts, so I didn’t see her as much as my dad some days, while my dad had to wake me up really early and drop me off at my uncle’s house since he had to go in early in the morning. Even with their work schedules, they found a way to keep my brother and I occupied with activities and maintain a stable lifestyle. Also at an early age, my parents would take my brother and I to Six Flags in St. Louis, MO every summer for 10 years straight. We knew the geography of our route so much that we grew accustomed to having at least one vacation every year. Some years in between, they would take us to Chattanooga, Gatlinburg, or wherever the out- of-town family reunion is located for that specific year. They even took us to Disney World in 2000, where my mind was excited. These trips brought great joy and became my passion. I love to travel is an understatement. I seek adventure, trying new things like food items and getting out of the norm. So, I’ve created my online travel business, Dream Travel by Ashley on Mar. 5, 2019. It was a late birthday present to me. I’ve started on this journey as an individual, who loves to travel and wanted to know more about the travel industry. Since starting, I’ve traveled to Las Vegas, multiple times, Hawaii, and Arkansas. Then luckily for me, I’ve stayed working on my business even through the craziness of the pandemic being among us. Many ups and downs happened in between, and I changed my travel business name to a name that best fits me and who I am, Simply ASE Travels on July 1, 2021. Since then, I’ve gained traction in booking luxury trips for clients, showing individuals how they too can start their own travel business and earn income within the travel industry. The main things I would say to anyone, who is interested in starting a travel business or any business is to always believe in yourself, get started, and stay consistent. You must trust and believe in yourself to believe in anything else you do. Then START! There is no time like the present to start something you have always wanted to do and to grow in that space overtime.","Santana Global For creative Business www.SANTANAGLOBALcom The 4 Ps of Marketing: What They Are and How to Use Them Santana Global","The four Ps are a “marketing mix” comprised of four Price key elements—product, price, place, and promotion Price is the cost of a product or service. WAS STARTED BY TWO BROTHERS WITH ONE LOVE – NAY, PASSION FOR COFFEE, AND THE DRIVE TO SHARE SOMETHING GREAT WITH THE COMMUNITY. OYE (PRONUNCIATION: OH-YAY!) Oye Coffee Co. is a West African coffee and lifestyle experience founded by two Nigerian brothers. With a little bit of savings, family inspiration, and faith in a lofty dream, we decided to bring Oye Coffee to life. Our vision, journey, and inspiration center around culture, community, and coffee — to deliver a transformative coffee experience that began thousands of miles away into something created to enjoy. We seek to use art and storytelling to share the beauty of west african culture through coffee and experiences to highlight what brings us all together all while embodying our name "Oye" which translates to mean chief of the village, tribe, and land — Chiefs of the Coffeeland. In our imagination, the Black Crowned Crane represents our native bird and companion in which we believe inspires us to "soar for more". The bird's representation marks much of what we do and who we are — from our passion to live peacefully, to our unique charm, we celebrate the everyday ritual of pushing the boundary forward. We want to add a new component to the narrative around how people experience coffee and culture in the community, and in the regions where we can make a difference. The idea of Oye Coffee Co. came from our conversations with relatives back home in Nigeria who operate a cocoa and coffee farm. They would send us coffee samples to try, and we fell in love not only with the coffee, but with the whole concept of coffee — how it gets people going and brings different cultures together and so much more. When we visited Montreal, we experienced the café culture firsthand, and it fueled our own idea: to re-imagine the coffeehouse experience. Meanwhile, we have built relationships with coffee farmers in different regions to bring a true “farm-to-cup” experience. Drinkers of our coffee discover the inherent qualities of each kind of bean used to make the coffee in their cup special. Being a transformative coffee concept inspired by the "aromatic euphoria", we are embarking on a journey to open up sui generis coffee shops and experiences, aiming to highlight our cultural background, give back to the community, and serve delicious specialty coffee in the process. We dream of creating a space to gather people around through coffee, art, food, music, and fashion. We look forward to the support of family, friends, and the community in our adventure.
