CHAPTER 1 Trouble at Hogwarts Harry came back to Hogwarts after his annoying summer holiday with Dursley (one family he hated the most). He met Ron and Hermione at the center of Hogmeade station. “Had a nice Summer Holiday?” asked Ron. “The worst.” Harry raised his eyebrow at Ron. Hermione nodded, “Very nice.” She raised on the same side as Harry’s, one of her eyebrow. They entered the Hogwarts castle peacefully, greeted by Professor McGonagall, waving at them gently. “Go get your robes!” she demanded. Harry knew he should get his robes to greet the first years at the great hall. He also knew all Hogwarts are stuck in a time warp by Lord Voldemort. First he was a grown- up, but, then so… Harry rushed up to the Gryffindor common-room, searched and scrambled for his robes, and soon found out his shimmering, shining robes were located under his four poster bed in a medium sized box. He’d never seen this kind of box under his bed, but he didn’t care and strode off. When he got to the Great Hall, the first years were already delicately sitting themselves on the stool. The first name Professor McGonagall’s list was ‘Thomas Weasley’. Ron shook in excitement. “He’s my little brother!” Ron smiled. “Dude! Your mum’s been having children?” Harry asked Ron. “Yeah! His name is Thomas!” “Weasley, Weasley, Weasley,” the Sorting Hat Announced. “Where should I put you?” the hat paused and announced, “Gryffindor!” Thomas strode off to the Gryffindor table. “Here’s Hermione, Hermione Granger. Also, this is Harry Pott…” “Harry Potter?!” Thomas interrupted Ron’s speech. “Let’s go to our Common-Room. We’ll have Divination with Professor Trelawney.” Professor Trelawney’s Lessons were Harry’s worst Lesson (as well as Potions). Now Ron was leading them to the Common-Room. Days later, Harry, Ron and Hermione were sitting eating feast, Professor McGonagall rushed in the room, face in horror. “Something was stolen from the ꟷ” Professor McGonagall held her tongue. Harry knew what was going to say, the Chamber of Secrets…
CHAPTER – TWO Mysterious Huntdown Harry was worrying about what was missing in the chamber of secrets like what thing is missing? That night Harry crept out of bed. He was going to the girls bathroom sink, he saw smoke sizzling from the kitchen. There was a man, and in Harry’s surprise, Harry saw the man’s face spin, and a monstrous face appeared and it hissed, “Harry Potter.” Harry closed his eyes, then pictured something strange… his parent’s death… he was picturing it over and over until he remembered where he was going. He went to the girls bathroom sink. It opened and Harry entered. He passed the snake door and there he saw a missing piece kind of gem piece in front of him. He wondered what it does. But as he was going to touch it he heard a cold voice, “Harry Potter, Harry Potter,” the cold voice shook. Harry push his hands backwards. Turned around. “What does the Chamber of Secret lie within?” it continued. Then, out of the mist, Ron and Hermione approached. “It’s just us!” Ron told Harry. “We were just looking for you because it’s already midnight now! “C’mon!” Hermione told Harry as well. Ron leaded them out of the cavern. When they reached the sink, it was open, but when they approached, it closed, and closed with a locking noise. There were people screaming outside and the sink opened, followed by three staff members, Professor McGonagall, Snape and Dumbledore were helping them in the sink incident. When they going to their dormitory Snape told them, “You will have Potions with me tomorrow Potter.” Harry went back to his dormitory. The next day, Harry woke up with Hedwig flying through the window with today’s Daily Prophet. “Thanks Hedwig!” Harry grabbed the Daily Prophet and unfolded it rapidly. He could see Hermione striding from the girls dormitory to the boy’s. “Get ready for Potions.” She told Harry, her Gryffindor robes gleaming so brightly, Harry didn’t have a glimpse at it, not once. It hurt his eyes. Harry packed all his stuff, put on glasses, and was going to depart. “Pyjamas.” Hermione gestured with her hands, reminding Harry to take his pyjamas off. A few second later, Hermione departed to the girl’s dorm. But Harry didn’t listen to Hermione. Instead, he set his eyes on the Daily Prophet. On there, it says: TODAY’S PROPHET OF THE WEEK That was just the beginning. In addition it says: Missing gem from the Chamber of Secrets (Location Hogwarts) “Aha!” Harry’s eyes glistened, as he scrawled a note underneath the Prophet. He kept on reading: It is important to the school because it makes the school well-used.
If Hogwarts doesn’t find it in time, it will be petrified. (Deadline 30th November). Reported by Harry scanned the reporter’s name. “Mr. Weasley?” Harry spluttered. “It’s your dad Ron!” Harry turned to face Ron whom was now awake. “Yeah,” Ron replied. “He told me the morning that we are going to Hogwarts was going to report today’s Daily Prophet!” “Then how would he ꟷ” “He knows,” Ron interrupted Harry’s speech. “Well, let’s go to Hagrid’s after feast and Potions?” “Ok.” Harry agreed. After Potions, (which was the worst) Harry and Ron met up with Hermione in the center of the Entrance Hall. They set off to Hagrid’s. When they knocked on the door, Fang’s barks protruded to them. “Hagrid,” Harry started as Hagrid protruded out of his cabin. “What’s this thingy?” “Come in!” Hagrid leaded Harry, Ron and Hermione in his cabin. “Got this book ’ere.” Hagrid showed Harry, Ron and Hermione. “It’s called Mysterious Huntdown.” “What is it?” Harry questioned. Hagrid opened it. Magic light flew out of the book. But all of a sudden Hagrid stood up. “Time to learn with meh.” He spoke as he got to his feet. Harry, Ron and Hermione stepped out of the cabin and saw Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle sniggling. “Hanging out with Mudblood, Pottah?” Malfoy teased Harry. “Stop calling me Mudblood!” Hermione stepped forward, and paused next to Harry, approaching at Malfoy. “Bloody Hell.” Ron pointed at the dragon they were about to study. It was the Hungarian Horntail. Harry had got past it utterly easily. At the end of the lesson, Harry pocketed the Mysterious Huntdown book his school working Gryffindor robe’s pocket. At night, Harry stayed awake to read the Mysterious Huntdown. When he was going to flip the first page, Hermione strode in. “Harry, why aren’t you asleep?” she asked as she entered. “Reading.” Harry replied. “Anyway, want to see tomorrow?” Hermione nodded. The next morning, Harry and Hermione persuaded Ron to go away from them, because they wanted to read it on their own. Harry and Hermione set off and settle down at the steps of Hagrid’s cabin. Harry
placed his wand on the blank front page of the book. It wrote: This finding of gem is a house competition, also finding the stealer. Harry set off immediately. Hermione seized his arm. “What?” he asked frustratedly. “We’ll tell Ron too.” Hermione replied. They set off to the castle in deep conversation about the book. “Ron, we ꟷ.” Hermione told Ron when they arrived at the castle. But the speech was interrupted. Ron was in a deep conversation with Lavender Brown. He turned to face Harry and Hermione, back to Lavender, and brushed at her.
CHAPTER 3 Sailing Trip A few days later, Harry went to the Entrance Hall, alone, to meet Hagrid but Professor McGonagall stopped him. “Come with me Potter.” She spoke in her cold voice. Harry followed her. She led him to her office. There was a map. A tea-spread, old map. “We will set sail Potter, we will find the gem together… as a house… I hope Gryffindor would win…” she put her talons tapping on Harry’s cheek. “Something heavy in your pocket, Potter?” Professor McGonagall spoke, staring at the poke out pocket of his school working Gryffindor robes. Harry remembered that he had kept it for a day. He pulled the ‘Mysterious Huntdown’ book out of his pocket. “Bless my heavens!” Professor McGonagall made a shrieked face, which made Harry stunned. “This book was delivered by ꟷ,” “Hagrid.” Harry interrupted. “No, I mean, Hagrid might’ve got it from He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named!” Professor McGonagall spoke in terror. “It’s Volde ꟷ.” Harry started. “Shhh!” Professor McGonagall put her index finger on her lips. “His book?” Harry asked. “I’ll tell Dumbledore tomorrow morning!” she hurried out of her office. Harry exhaled and stepped out of her office. As he went to Hagrid’s, Harry saw a Knight Bus large creature in front of Hagrid’s cabin. He knocked on the door and Hagrid replied with a hoarsely voice. “Come in, wadda ya wan’ ’arry?” he gestured with his dustbin sized hands to come in. “Geddin’ well widda book?” “Fine,” Harry replied like nothing has happened. “Hagrid, what was that creature out there?” “Oh, it was Collopswag. Mine, you’ll be examinin’ it tomorrow in Care o’ Magical Creatures lesson,” Hagrid spoke in a surprised face. “So, what was it ya go’na tell me?” “It’s a house competition of finding the gem!” Harry told him. “Oh, yes, ya go’na sail da Gryffindor boat, Gryffindor emblems on either sade. Ya know I’ll be sailing with Gryffindors. Oh, and yes, I sailed on it before, hang on…” Hagrid looked happy as he spoke. He drew out his drawer and pulled out a picture frame.
“This is me,” he pointed at the picture which included him in it. “It was me secon’ years. Sailing the boat. In my days there was sailing lesson.” “Hagrid ꟷ.” Harry started. “Now go go, you’ll be late for ꟷ” Hagrid shove his dustbin sized hands at Harry’s back. “Transfiguration.” Harry spoke. Harry met Ron and Hermione at the Entrance Hall. “Where’ve you been?” Ron asked. “Hagrid’s.” Harry replied. “What for?” Ron sound like he was going to debate with Harry. “Tell him about the Mysterious Huntdown.” Harry muttered. Harry kept his mouth shut to Ron and Hermione about the Mysterious Huntdown belonging to He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. When he got to Professor McGonagall’s transfiguration classroom, Malfoy started messing around with him. As Professor McGonagall started to teach the class, Malfoy scrunched up a piece of paper and threw it at him. “Impedimental,” Harry pointed his wand at the piece of paper, stopping it in midair. Malfoy started to trick him again. “Ay Pottah! Want some wine?” he picked up a goblet and throwing it in midair with wine for Harry to catch. “Reducto!” Harry shouted, forcing the glass to shatter into tiny pieces, wine spilling out. “Potter! How dare you stop scrunched up paper in midair, and how dare you shatter a glass of wine on the floor!” Professor McGonagall screamed. “No untold spells in class!” she demanded. “Professor ꟷ” Harry tried to recover himself. “20 points taken away from Gryffindor.” She eyed him crossly. “Also, Potter, detention.” She gestured her hand to Harry, out of the classroom. “Detention with Hagrid, he’s got a job a dangerous job. That’s the detention.” Professor McGonagall told Harry unpleasantly. As the both drew nearer Hagrid’s cabin, Professor McGonagall spoke to Hagrid, “Hagrid, Potter needs detention.” Professor McGonagall spoke. “Right ’Arry.” Hagrid spoke to him. Professor McGonagall and Hagrid were gossiping for a while, that Harry couldn’t hear, then, for a moment, Hagrid got up to his feet and told him, “How dare you use the Impediment and Reducter curse in the class?” Just then Professor McGonagall strode away. “Because of Malfoy.” Harry tried to tell Hagrid.
“Well, but you still need detention. C’mon we’ll be late.” Hagrid gestured his hand for Harry to move forward. “Where are we going?” Harry asked as they strode across the Forbidden Forest trees. “The Forbidden Forest?” “No, somewhere more dangerous. Out of Hogwarts ground.” Hagrid told him. Harry and Hagrid walked for a while, then Hagrid stopped, and spoke. “Follow these footsteps. They will lead us to o’ map that we need ’oo go fin’ a map in e wizard’s falls, one o’ da dangerous waterfalls on the wizarding world! That also led us to this Moun’ Grassland. Professor McGonagall believe the crime o’ a gem and the gem’s there!” Hagrid pointed his wand at the footsteps and muttered “Incendio!” but instead Hagrid old cloth lit on fire. “Oh sorry ’arry,” he recovered “Jus’ a momen.”
