The Cathedral Basilica is renowned for its wall and ceiling mosaics, which are comprised of almost 42 million pieces of brightly colored glass depicting the Catholic faith and the history of St. Louis — a must-see in the city. Mass Celebrant was Chapter chaplain Reverend Monsignor Henry Breier, and the day chairs were Mr. and Mrs. Martin Kerkhoff. Afterward, members gathered atop the Chase Park Plaza in the Starlight Room, with its panoramic view of St Louis’ Forest Park and Central West End. The dinner program was moderated by Mrs. Diane Snively and featured a panel of founders who started the St. Louis Chapter 25 years ago, in 1996. They shared their commitment to Legatus and many anecdotes of the Chapter’s early days. The Chapter is eternally grateful to these founders and their continued dedication to the mission of Legatus.
