Build Resilience In K-12 Students With This EI Curriculum Based On The Science Of Hope

In recent years, nearly 2,000 published studies on trauma, illness, & resiliency have revealed that the number one predictive indicator for well- being is.... HOPE.

Research shows that students with high levels of hope exhibit lower levels of anxiety, depression & stress, and increased levels of classroom engagement & academic performance. Hope Rising has designed its hope-driven emotional intelligence curriculum, \"My Best Me\", from this scientific research & years of practical evidence.

Two-thirds of the students in the average U.S. classroom have endured at least one Adverse Childhood Experience (ACE), which is a potentially traumatic event between ages 0-17. Often, ACEs cause students to develop depression, anxiety, and learning impairments, or even substance abuse & unemployment issues as adults if unaddressed.

\"My Best Me\" uses the science of hope to teach students how to set positive goals, create pathways to their goals, and build the willpower required to achieve their goals.

Students increase their resilience by developing these practical skills & applying them in the curriculum's 5 core areas: identity, health, community, environment, and economics.
