Child-Centered Curriculum For Elementary Students Fosters Emotional Intelligence
Elementary school students have taken some serious knocks recently: a teacher shortage, overcrowded classrooms, education funding cutbacks, & of course, the pandemic quarantine.
Hope Rising believes students can learn to be hopeful, thrive in the face of adversity, & bolster their learning capacity by fostering their emotional intelligence. And they've created the world's first hope-certified emotional intelligence curriculum to do just that. It's called \"My Best Me\".
Elementary school students often struggle to consistently manage their emotions in class, especially when they have gone through one or multiple adverse childhood experiences. Mismanaged emotions can lead to conflicts & fighting amongst classmates, disrespectful interactions with teachers, & other classroom disruptions that take away from learning time.
\"My Best Me\" teaches students how to develop and maintain habits that will support their physical, mental, and emotional health, which builds a positive foundation of confidence.
With \"My Best Me\", students learn how to understand their own identity and the essential part they play in creating a strong, collaborative community in the classroom and beyond.
