Winescaping invites you to promote positive change through specially curated and crafted experiences around Wine, Travel, and Transformation.

Wine is an elixir that brings people together in conversation, laughter, and friendship, and has been a passion to Winescaping owners, Jeanne Savelle and Rick Knutsen. Their approach to wine is open, fun, and intensely curious. Jeanne has a few professional wine certifications but believes that personal experience and curiosity are the best teachers. They believe wine can be a force for change in the climate crisis.

For Jeanne and Rick, travel is also a passion. They have traveled throughout the world, including extensive travel in South America, across the U.S., and from Canada to South Africa to New Zealand and more. Through travel, Winescaping brings people together to educate and promote understanding and connection. Travel can also be a force for change through applying the concepts of Transformational Travel. Jeanne is a certified Transformational Travel Council consultant.

Personal Tansformation. Jeanne is a certified Life, Retirement, & Transitions coach, but has expanded her vision into Transformational Coaching. She considers herself a guide and invites others to be a positive force for change in re-discovering and re-connecting to their true nature.

The underlying concept of these three pillars is regeneration: regenerating the planet through viticulture and regenerating people through Transformational concepts in travel and personal growth. A vineyard encompasses a living system. It is a rooted place in which life flourishes and thrives. Vineyards can lead in carbon sequestration through the adoption of regenerative agricultural practices. People can lead through developing a deeper understanding of life and tapping into their natural wisdom and creativity.

Through an unusual combination of Transformational Travel and Transformational Coaching, travelers experience a different perspective of wine and of their own place in the world.

Jeanne was born into a military family and was raised around the U.S. She holds English & Spanish degrees from Florida State University. At the Thunderbird School of Global Management, she received a Master of Int'l Management degree in Finance. She recently retired from The Coca-Cola Company. Rick spent 20 years in insurance developing financial reporting platforms. He holds a Master of Int'l Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. His travel to wine regions around the world, expanding his knowledge and enjoyment of wine, has led to an extensive wine collection.
