05/7/2018 1200 Takeover  Takeover shift duty from shift B.  On duty: Khaidzir and Adli Khaidzir 1405 ATCS  Roundcheck control room Adli 1405 Direct Line 1630 Barco  Direct line out of service from 2205  Sv En Rhodizat until 2210 LT.  Weather update normal. 2210 Barco  No reports on faults.  Switch USB splitter between NWH 2226 Direct Line and NEL, and added additional mouse  5 minutes out 2300 ATCS at NWH.  Controller requested  Plot Map following the received additional mouse at SWH NOTAM because of recent mouse hang disruptions.  Direct Line out of service from 0626 until 0630 LT.  USB splitter switch to check if parts is working properly.  CAAM shift change  Map plot at NWL console.  Saved under “/MILACT072018.LOC”  Broadcasted following WM, Mr Thiru, instruction.  Also re-plotted an old plot that was broadcasted previously.  WM said only area 1 and area 7 needed.  Saved under “/PEKANBAHRU.LOC” at NWL console.  4 minutes out.  SV: Mr Fauzi

Controller said crackling noise intermittent.  Heard crackling at 1123LT happens during radio not receiving or transmitting  Un – select GT RX for monitoring at 1124LT. After 30 minutes, no problems. Speculate that it might be GT site having problems  Report to Salbiah to request next action to take for radio  Salbiah inform to monitor GT RX and un-select SE RX  Monitor GT RX only at 1234LT for 30 minutes. 2245 Radio (118.65) Inquire from controller if there is any  Controller said no complains so problems with the frequency. far. 2322 Radio (125.05) Controller report that pilot reply late to  Monitor the frequency from controller. another console. 2330 Barco Barco NEL/SEL screen not clear.  When controller transmit on Tx Se, can only hear partial of what 18/7/2018 0000 Handover Shift duty and shift phone handover to shift B controller transmitted. Takeover  Takeover shift duty from shift A  This does not happen when the frequency change to Tx Gt.  Record and report to Salbiah.  Happened to all the aircraft under the frequency.  Monitor the frequency.  At 2331, controller said pilot complained that transmission is weak. Plane was near Batu Arang area.  No more problems until 2351, end monitor.  Controller said a few pilot also complained before that transmission is unclear.  Report to Salbiah and will inform next shift to monitor.  Tighten the wire, screen problem fixed.  Now the barco is clear.  Amierul

1400 ATCS Round check at control room reported again. 1440 Radio (118.65) Sv did radio check on 118.65  Weather update all okay.  NEL/SEL barco is okay, only 1720 Preventive Weekly PM done for control room and MER Maintenance slight line seen.  No reports on 118.65 and 2240 ATCS Round check at control room 125.05 having problems as of 2300 ATCS CAAM shift change now. 2330 Barco SV request to plot map.  Controller did radio check ok both site.  Gt Site pilot said okay.  Se Site pilot said slight broken.  Controller also said that the side tone on Se site only hear the start of transmit, can’t hear the rest.  Report to Salbiah.  All check pass and serviceable except for ADP monitor for NEL/SEL.  SWH fallback keyboard is useable but is stiff and unable to press “r”.  Weather update okay.  118.65 on SE site Rx Tx.  No direct line out of service seen.  SV: Mr Hood  Plot at NWL/SWL.  Saved under
