ABOUT ME
Rund Samman is a Graphic Designer from The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She has a never ending passion for Graphic Design. She always gives it her all and pushes her boundaries in order to create the best thing she possibly could. From posters to packaging to typography and book design, Rund always worked hard to produce the best work. And throughout her 4 years of University, Rund discovered her passion for typography and package design, and she wishes to excel in these fields and create artworks that people could see at art gallerys and would talk about with pride.

QWA COSMETICS PROBLEM: Create a capstone project that resists something. Resistance is a reaction. An act of defence or refusal. Resistance might be positive or negative, and even destructive. SOLUTION: QWA Cosmetics is a Saudi makeup brand established by a young Saudi woman in 2019. Our brand embraces the empowerment of Saudi women to show and express their beauty both inwardly and outwardly. QWA COSMETICS is a proud community of strong and passionate women who are able to resist the cultural stereotypes. Our goal is to positively shift societal views about Saudi arabian women all around the world. Each QWA product is designed to enable Saudi women to embody features that they possess but are unable to embrace. Each of our products is given a name with a Saudi dialect. The concept of our brand is to create an open- ended conversation with the Saudi public using local dialects. 28
