The collage book is a book being inspired by Nathalie Djurberg & Hans Berg’s One Last Trip to The Underworld. The Bird x Flower sculptures as we first walk in hit me hard as they reminded me of Japan's traditional Ikebana, floral art. I love the taking and giving relationships of the flower and the bird, it definitely reflects the longing, lust, and desire. At the same time, the delicate structure of the installations make the sculptures heavenly while whimsical. They have this mysterious quality for me to make reflection. The videos evoke a lot of thoughts as well. At first, we were a bit blown out because they are odd, violent, mysterious, dreamlike, disturbing, and seldom use of texts. Later we find those really appealing because the videos offered some really dark but fantasized scenes to make us reflect and interpret for our own fears and emotion towards our own brokenness.

With the exhibition as my inspiration, I started this collage book as a collection of ideas and mood boards
