Having had the MetaManWacom Bamboo tablet for quite some time, I thought it was time to take a step up to a full-featured graphics tablet.After seeing the price of the Wacom graphics tablet range, I was certain I was going to have to find an alternative. Afterweeks of consideration and research, I can say with certainty that the Artist 15.6 is a fantastic alternative to Wacomtablets. Below are some pro's and cons for the tablet:PROS Wacom Cintiq 13 HD budget alternative• Thin at ≈12mm but very strong - great portability, I often take the graphics tablet to and from various locations, but This was half the price of a Wacom Cintiq 13 HD. But Iyou'll need a big case! miss out on only two features. The eraser end and the tilt• Easy to set up and use - powered through USB so doesn't require a wall connection (at least not when using my detection. The tablet comes with a single cable that wires upSorry, this video is unsupported on this everything. It uses a USB-C plug on the tablet end browser. which provides power and HDMI video to the tablet, and the pen controls and buttons from the tablet. Because it's the new USB-C it can be plugged in either way around! It's also recessed in the frame so the plug won't strain when you're moving the tablet around. On the other end of the cable are 3 plugs - two USB plugs - one for power (optional, depending on PC's USB power abilities), the other for the pen and buttoncontrols to be picked up by the PC.
