AWARDS TMS Awards 2020 – unique event showcases success T he seventh annual The Maritime Standard Awards were held on Monday 23rd November at The World Trade Centre, Dubai, celebrating the achievements of the top performers in the region’s shipping and maritime sectors. Slightly different to past events, being held under strict governmental health guidelines, it still proved to be a high quality and glamorous occasion, cementing the Awards’ reputation as the leading ceremony for the sector in the Middle East and the Indian Subcontinent. The Awards were held once again under the patronage of His Highness, Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President, Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and Chief 2021/22 TMS UAE Yearbook 83

The hosts were two well-known UAE personalities,‘King of Comedy’ Ali Al Sayed and TV presenter Rania Ali, who were joined by over 400 executives from the worlds of shipping, ports, shipbuilding and repair and related sectors to see the event of the night unfold.
