THE PUZZLE THAT IS LIFE “Life is a puzzle. Emotions contradict, situations contradict and the world tries to fool us with illusions. The only way anyone would survive is by finding patterns in this contradictory world.” Learning about patterns help children make predictions because they begin to understand what comes next. It also helps children learn how to make logical connections and use reasoning skills to make head or tail of this contradictory world. With an objective to learn about patterns, the young logicals performed thread painting. They also created colourful, vibrant patterns and mosaics, to find a reason in the confusing world. 1 NOVEMBER 2022

There were Elsas‟, Unicorns, Mickeys‟, Minnies‟ and many more characters all around. To add glitter to the day, the little cartoon characters made personalised pencil holders imprinted with their favourite cartoon characters, thereby colouring the storyboard of their lives with joy and happiness. 4 NOVEMBER 2022

CASTING THE SPELL OF FUN The real magic wand is the child‟s own mind. Education is the natural process carried out by the child. It is not acquired by only listening to words but also by the experiences as gained from the magical environment our world provides. We believe that education should stimulate students‟ mind and enhance their intellect. We believe that knowledge is power. In order to do justice to this vision and to the theme of the month “Means of Entertainment”- the students stretched their boundaries and performed the activity. Magic Wand Making activity was filled with fun and a lot of creativity. We accomplished our vision and theme through this activity. The young magicians cast spells of fun and frolic. 6 NOVEMBER 2022

THE INNOCENT SUNSHINE Without children, the world would be devoid of sunshine, laughter, and love. Children spread joy and happiness in every season as they are the most beautiful creation of God. Every child holds within him/her the future of mankind. Children are the precursors of adults and they are the carriers of our heritage. Children‟s Day is a day dedicated to childhood, a day to celebrate one of the best years of human life. It‟s a day attributed to the children of the world and to say “thank you” for making life look so beautiful, as they win over hearts with their pure and innocent smiles. However under all the fun and frolic, there remains a significant concern of educational, recreational, health, cultural, economic and social equity for children. Kindergartners celebrated the day with euphoria and went home with memories to cherish. 8 NOVEMBER 2022

IMAGINING LIVES OF GRANDEUR To imagine is not to simply lie in repose. It is to dream, and hope for lives where the ever-growing desires of man have been fulfilled. It is said, the essence of a role-playing is that it is a group and cooperative experience. This was rightly displayed when the mimickers mimicked their teachers and performed a role play on the different characters from various media. They responsibly and creatively mimicked cartoon characters, singers, dancers and everyone‟s favourite clown. They even shared their experiences thereby, imagining lives of grandeur and happiness. 26 NOVEMBER 2022

A WORD THAT CURES THE WORLD Give thanks for each new morning with its light, For rest and shelter of the night, For health and food, for friends, and love. For everything thy goodness sends.- Ralph Waldo Emerson The grateful little cherubs celebrated „Thanksgiving Day‟ with great zeal and fervour. They expressed their gratitude for the blessings they have got in their life. Showing gratitude is one of the simplest yet most powerful things humans can do for each other. We firmly believe in inculcating moral values in our little cherubs at an early age. They expressed their gratitude to all the people who make their life easy and comfortable. The making of „turkey headbands‟ was the highlight of the celebration. The gleam in their eyes exhibited clearly that they loved and enjoyed the activity, and the fact that they had clearly learnt the word that cures the world. 28 NOVEMBER 2022

WILL YOU BE MY FRIEND I started with a paper. I drew two eyes, I drew one nose, I drew one mouth and some hair and then, my puppet spoke to me. Will you be my friend? I said, yes this will never end. Puppets are magical creatures of imagination. They turn tears to laughter and are used in imaginative play by using the variable hands, of adults and of young tots. The young hands made origami hand puppets of their favourite characters and created stories thereby stimulating their creative instincts. They made puppets the friends for life! 30 NOVEMBER 2022

THE SOUNDS OF SCIENCE Sound is the language that is spoken by all. vHumans learn through different experiments in life. They learn from mistakes and create a world from trials and errors. Engaging the young children in fun activities and experiments keeps the learning in their memory forever. The budding scientists learnt about the different types of sounds produced by a water glass. When a mallet taps the glass, the water inside the glass vibrates and makes sounds. The glass with no water produces the highest pitched sound. This was a scientific experiment which instilled the basic principles of the sounds of science. 33 NOVEMBER 2022
