From the Desk of the Principal I am delighted to be on the opening pages of the yearbook 2021-22 and speaking to you!! Date As I look back at your two years with us, well, I mean 22/07/2022 virtually more than in person, I marvel at how well you have balanced your online and offline classes without losing focus of your goals. We have sailed through these challenging and unique virtual experiences together with expertise and creativity. Your batch will be able to boast about attending lectures from the comfort of your bed, wearing your coziest pajamas while munching on your favourite snacks. And not to forget chatting with your friends on personal chat while “listening” to your teachers. Crazy as it may sound, this year has helped create many fond memories unique to your batch. The variety of new skills and behaviours that you have learned will take you far. I congratulate all of you for your resilience, adaptability, and vigour. I wish you the very best for all that you strive to achieve. You are a bunch of talented and inspiring students, and it would not be wrong to say that I have learned a lot from all of you! As you leave for greener pastures, opportunities will come knocking your way, have the courage to take a chance and accept the challenge. You will either succeed or you will learn, either way it's a win-win. It has been an honour to be your principal and I hope you remain connected with us as valuable alumni. Your Principal, Parveen Shaikh.
Messages from our Teachers Ms. Sini Joy Dear students I am short of words as It’s been a remarkable journey with you all.The moments we spent together will be missed. Each day was memorable , from our classroom interactions in every sociology lectures,to all the virtual role play and fun. The time spent with you all was most memorable As I always said you all rocked! You all have a special place in my heart! May you be victorious in all spheres of your life! Stay blessed! Ms. Sakshi Patil Dear all, I was the privileged one to associate with each one of you individually. Though online, the bond developed with you all is a vert special one. The strangest of my memory is when you all were called to school for the first time after lockdown and we teachers were trying to identify each student based on our recognition from the tiny zoom screens. A few months of offline was terrific having you all bubbling with energy in the corridors. My dear Students, I wish each one of you the greatest success in life. Ms. Meghna Savani Sincere, hardworking and very energetic batch. Always ready to learn quite expressive but at the same time you all always maintained the discipline of the class. All the best .
Ms, Priya Baid It is rare to find a bunch of students who you start teaching virtually and connect with so well that saying goodbye becomes a bitter sweet process. Psychics, thank you for all the amazing memories, the scapegoat-ing sound, Anandi tale, Govandi bus stories and so so much more. It is students like you all who bring out the best in teachers like us. I will miss your rants and random questions. Forever indebted to you'll for putting up with my demands for endless tests and some extra classes. And for all the non-Psychics who were along with us in these two years at TSS, I hope you know me enough to accept my best wishes. Thank you for adding to my memory trove. One message that I'd like to leave all of you with is a quote from my recent favourite book- The Stranger in the Lifeboat by Mitch Albom. 'Worry is something you create.' 'Why would we create worry?' 'To fill a void.' 'A void of what?' 'Faith.' Have faith in yourself and your capabilities as you step into the unknown shores Don't let the worry get to you. Farewell! Ms, Kalyani Vinod Your chit chats and smiles, Your giggles and fights, Your request for blue ground, Your performances, that broke new ground It was a pleasure to have you all, Memories will stay, for recall Today as you part by, Blessings and best wishes is all a teacher can leave by.
