REPORT FROM THE REGIONAL CHAIRMAN I give God thanks and praise for His grace, mercy and faithfulness over the past year. I am truly thankful to God for enabling us to be at this juncture in our journey as individuals and as a region as we celebrate thirty-one (31) years of regional convention. We have experienced the goodness of God over and over again and especially during the height of the pandemic, hence, we are reminded that God is still God whether we are experiencing good or bad times, He remains the same. I encourage us to keep our hearts and minds stayed on God and keep our focus on the goal. Things will not always go the way we want them to, but this should help us to trust God more to take us through whatever process He may be taking us through. I use this medium to express heartfelt gratitude to the leaders of the region, our pastors, our families and all workers of the church at all levels. I thank and commend our Executive Chairman, Rev. Adinhair Jones for his leadership and vision and from whom we take our cue as we seek to move the region forward. Thanks also to our very dedicated and hardworking Zone Supervisor, Rev. Dexter Johnson who has been giving extraordinary leadership, guidance, and support to the region. To the Vice Chairmen and all members of the executive, thanks. I am mindful that the tasks get daunting at times but I implore you to stay the course and dare to be a Daniel, dare to have a purpose firm and dare to make it known. We acknowledge the contributions of those who have gone ahead of us and thank God for the legacy they have left behind. I have been privileged to attend and participate in some of the activities put on by congregations in the region as well as participated in all the axillary conventions held- MCG, WCG, Children and Youth. I commend all the leaders of the axillaries and head of committees for the effort they have made and for making the sacrifice to carry out the work of the Lord. Monthly Prayer and Fasting, Early Morning Prayer Meetings, Morning devotions and Unit Fasting Our monthly first Wednesday prayer and fasting has been running going three years now which I believe has borne much fruit. Thanks to Evangelist Wolfe and Sis. Carol Mason Rowe for their effort in Making this happen. Hats off to our very dynamic youth lead er Deaconess Crystal McKenzie and her team who have conceptualized the monthly weeklong early morning prayer 3

meetings and which the region has endorsed and has been fully participating. This has been more than a region four activity as it has attracted members from all regions as well as in the diaspora. Our morning devotions have been very inspiring and encouraging and Vice chairmen and Sis. Carol Mason Rowe. Who organize to have this done consistently. We had our unit fasting in the various units which were well attended in general. Let us keep the fire burning. Regional Rally We had our regional rally at the Iron Gate Church of God in Jamaica. This was well attended and supported by the members of the region. We raised over one hundred thousand dollars for the church. This will become an annual event to be used as a fundraiser for the region as well as the church it is held. Our aim is to assist the smaller congregations in the initial stage to raise much needed funds, hence, whatever funds are raised will shared between the region as well as that congregation. Evangelism Our aim as a region is to adopt the ganging up approach, therefore our focus has been on the Iron Gate Church. So far, we have had a weekend open air meeting which has gained much attention from the community. Our aim is to have at least one open air meeting there per month. Some members from other congregations visit from time to time and Assistance is being given by Brother Timothy Simpson, son of Rev. Fergus Simpson, who assists on a fourth Sunday. Longville Park Property Some progress is being made, though not with the urgency many would have loved to see. Let us pray that all that is necessary for closure will take place soon so that persons with vested interest can occupy. Finance I use this medium to thank all the congregations who have been supporting the region financially. Thanks also for the effort you all made in contributing to the national assembly rally quota. I urge those congregations that have lapsed in their giving to get back on board. Support for LTI The Leadership Training Institute in Mandeville is where many of our pastors received their training, therefore its an important institution in the Church of God in Jamaica. We are all being urged to contribute financially to the institution to help to keep it afloat. Congregations are asked to contribute at least$10,000 per year. Individuals may also give to the institution as you are led. Reform of the Church of God in Jamaica I encourage all pastors and leaders to familiarize yourselves with the details of the reform agenda of the Church of God in Jamaica in order to strategically lead and guide your congregations so that all members will be meaningfully engaged in the process. REPORTS FROM THE AUXILLIARIES IN REGION 4 Evangelism Report 2022 Evangelism in the church of God in Jamaica region 4 has seen improvements. The men's convention which was held at Smithville COG, the women's convention at May Pen COG and the youth convention which was held at the Longville Park COG were all successful. The support for these events could have been better Though, but owing to the covid-19 restrictions, many individuals were online. The churches are trying their best to have more crusades on the weekends and that is very good, as it lines up with the word of God which says that ‘he that winneth souls is wise’. Additionally, the Wintney Church of God in Jamaica had an appreciation service for their pastor, Reverend Monica McKenzie. This event was highly supported. There is evidence of growth in the different congregations in the region. Iron Gate Church of God in Jamaica is still having their Sunday school even though the children are not in attendance as before. Also, there was no VBS this year. The congregation now has electricity and as such a rally of praise and thanks giving was held. It could have been more supported by the different churches. Nevertheless, we give God thanks for those who were in attendance. We also had a weekend crusade and from that one person got baptized . We give thanks for the one soul that repented. Additionally, we held an appreciation service for Elder Theresa Watson who is a long- standing member residing overseas. Sis Watson lost her husband while they were on vacation here in Jamaica this year. There are other congregations that are still struggling, but I know that if we keep fasting and praying there will be a great change and I implore the pastors to respond to phone calls. With God all things are possible so let us not give up for there is a brighter day yet to dawn. Submitted by Evangelist Yvonne Wolfe 11

Region 4 Church of God in Jamaica Christian Ed Report 2021-2022 The Christian Ed department continued to press on during the second year of COVID-19 lock- downs and restrictions. The season of challenges persisted, however we have Christ during the crisis. The following activities were carried during the period: • 1st Wednesdays – Regional Fasting and Prayer (all 4 units participated via WhatsApp) • Saturday morning devotions by children in all units • Daily Devotionals by all churches in the region • Children from all units participated in the monthly Zoom prayer meetings. • The Return of Face-to-face Sunday School Convention, held at the May Pen church under the theme: “Children Celebrating Christ in the Crisis”. Over 85 of the region’s children were in attendance from approximately 9 churches. The speaker was Bro. Joshua Gordon from Chapelton. In addition, May Pen took home the Rebertha Mundle Trophy for Best Attendance. Thanks to all our Pastors, Deacons, Sunday School Teachers, Superintendents, resource persons and all our contact persons from the units who contributed in some way to ensure the work of ministry continued. Region 4 Women of the Church of God Reporting year 2021-2022 EXECUTIVE MEMBERS Regional Chairman Rev. Monica McKenzie Assistant Chairman Sis Latoya Williams Secretary Sis Minna Edwards Assistant Secretary Sis Veronica Duncan Treasurer Sis Yvonne Jack The women of the church of God in Region 4 greets this year’s convention through the power and the strength given to us by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. In spite of the circumstances we face we are alive and well. The year got off to a slow start with many uncertainties about how to proceed in this season of the virtual space, but by the grace of God we have been able to forge ahead. There are currently 5 churches that have active WCG fellowships in region 4. The way forward An executive meeting was held at the May Pen COG on June 1, 2021 at which the following churches were represented: Whitney, May Pen, Smithville, Kellits, Chapelton. During the business session request was made for an assistant Regional Coordinator. That position has been filled by sis Latoya Williams from the Whitney COG. The 75th WCG magazine containing a rich history of the WCG in Jamaica was promoted and churches were urged to purchase a copy for $2500. The importance of having devotion with children and encouraging them to memorize scripture verses was strongly emphasized. In order to avoid clashes the fellowships were asked to send in their planned events/calendar. Discussions were held regarding the following: 1. Assistance from retired nurses to give time at the Harrison Memorial Holistic Care Centre. 2. Inactive fellowships to be visited 3. Women united in fasting and prayer on June 18, 2021 Launch of Mentorship Programme The Region 4 WCG partnered with region 3 to launch its mentorship programme on October 30, 2021. The members of the region are currently seeking out persons to be mentors and pairing them with a group or individual to be mentored. Further training will take place early next year. 13

Participation in Events There was a meeting on November 20, 2021 of region 4 WCG and MCG departments. This took the form of a business and social setting. Members discussed the challenges faced and made plans on how to improve/strengthen the fellowships. Various fellowships shared what they were doing in their individual churches and best practices were given. The decision was made to visit James Hill WCG in the month of December to try to revive that group. The next visit will be made with the Smithville WCG. The meeting ended with food and fellowship. The women of region 4 continue to take part in activities held at the national level. The ladies took part in the CAA prayer meetings held in August (The 10 day Daniel fast) and the other (Caribbean women with a mission) between November 22nd to 28th, 2021; region 4 WCG took charge on Thursday, the 25th inviting sis Maureen Kennedy, president of the CAA to present on mission of the women in St. Vincent. Other Participating Activities i) Visitation of Fellowship- James Hill WCG was visited in December by sis Denise Levy and follow-up calls made by Rev. M. McKenzie. The fellowship is making the effort to revitalize. They participated in the regional quiz competition and came out victorious. ii) Quiz Competition- The regional quiz competition came to a close in February with the finalists being Chapelton and James Hill COG. The overall winner was James Hill COG. However, representatives were taken from across the region to compete at the national finals. Our region’s women emerged second at the national level in the Quiz Competition. We wish to thank sis Marcia Taylor for coordinating this effort and to our Chaiman Deacon Levy who was quiz master. iii) Speech Competition- Our youths took part in the mentorship public speaking competition. Shaneanne Wright from Chapelton and Gabrielle from Kellits COG advanced to round 2 of the competition. Shaneanne Wright represented the region at the National level in the speech competition and took home the 2nd place trophy. Regional Convention The Region 4 WCG Convention was held at the May Pen COG on January 23, 2022 under the theme, 'Women avail yourselves to be used by God'. Our speaker was the dynamic Sister Shamona Smith from the Bethel Apostolic Church of God, who gave a very powerful and challenging message. 14

Challenges • Many of our women do not have the zoom platform to engage in online meetings and some of the older members are not familiar with using the technology. This has caused a decline in participation and activities within the region. • There is an urgent need to fill the positions of secretary and assistant as the secretary is unable to fulfill the role due to extenuating circumstances and the assistant is unavailable. However, we have recently nominated a Secretary elect, that will be appointed shortly. • Lack of funds - we need to undertake more fundraising activities in the region so that there can be funds in the regional kitty. Accomplishments thus far: 1. The Regional Coordinator, Rev. Monica McKenzie is the national WCG Chaplain. 2. Contribution was given to assist in purchasing mattresses for the HMHCC 3. The launch of region 4’s mentorship programme. 4. The regional beach trip to Turtle River was a great success. 5. The following new regional positions were filled: • Spiritual Life Coordinator – Judith Dawson • Quiz Coordinator – Marcia Taylor • Mentorship Coordinator – Denise Levy • Stewardship Coordinator – Josephine Taylor • Friendship Coordinator – Yanique Parks Upcoming Activities: • Care Basket- The profit from the beach trip will create care basket which will assist the needy in our region. Commendations The women of the region are greatly appreciative of those who continue to work assiduously in ensuring that we thrive from strength to strength. To the members of the Women executive and congregational presidents your support has not gone unnoticed. Our Regional Chairman we are appreciative of your continued help. We are appreciative of those who continue to offer great support to our activities. With co-operation and dedication to serve our master, the women will press to fulfill our mission statement. Rev. Monica McKenzie WCG Chairman, Region 4 15

REGION 4 MCG REPORT Executive of the MCG President: Deacon Marvin Williams 1st Vice President: Deacon Paul Sweeneys 2nd Vice President: Deacon Glenmore Thomas Secretary: Deacon Roy Taylor Asst Secretary: Renard Dennis Treasurer: Deacon Fitz Henry Asst. Treasurer: Gareth Gordon PRO: Evangelist Dwayne Smikle Giving God thanks for another year where we can report victory in Jesus’ name. From 2019 to 2022, the executive has not been functioning as it is supposed to. One of the reason is the two year lock down and the other is the lack of willingness from some of the men to sacrifice the time and effort. However. I take the responsibility to visit churches in the region to encourage the men to hold fast and to revive the fellowships that are dormant. Victoria COG was my last visit. Regional Men’s convention was held at the Chapelton COG on the 17th of October 2021. Rev Carton Tomlin was the speaker. On the 4th of December 2021, we the men of the region and the NMCG combined did an indigent project at Rev Mundle’s house and it was a success. Also, men from the region and the NMCG worked on the expansion of the Whitney COG on the 26th of Feb and on the 3rd of march 2022. ACTIVE MEN GROUPS - May Pen COG; Old Harbour COG; Whitney COG; Smithville COG; Chapelton COG; Victoria COG Psalm 12 vs 1 – ‘Help Lord for the godly ceaseth ;for the faithful fail from among the children of men’. I encourage the men of the region to get connected, stay connected and live in the source which is Christ Jesus. 16

Officers The executive continues to struggle as not all the officers are functioning in their various positions. Some Officers who were appointed left the WhatsApp executive group without proving a reason to the executive. Nevertheless, we continue to work assiduously to achieve our region’s task and objectives. We are currently without a Secretary, Sports Coordinator and Communications Coordinator. Additionally, the Chairman Deacon Mckenzie has migrated and therefore, the executive is currently seeking a replacement. Regional Youth Convention Regional Convention 2022: was held on the 9th and 10th of July. The theme of the convention was “Youths Realigning Our Lives to Meet Jesus Christ.” We commenced the convention with a very informative online presentation on Mental Health among youths. Our presenter was Sister Petal Hansle, Psychologists from the May Pen Church of God in Jamaica. She gainfully engaged participants and answered relevant questions on the topic. This was followed by an online concert where talents from different churches were showcased. We concluded our convention at the Longsville Park Church of God with our divine service; the speaker was Sister Zelia Brown from the St. John’s Road Church of God. She challenged the youths from the Book of Philippians and reminded us on the importance of remaining aligned with God. Other Regional Activities We hosted the following activities during the reported year: 1. In the month of October 2021, the regional Youths had a week of online early Morning Prayer meetings. Each congregational youths were assigned a specific morning to lead the prayer meeting. The meetings were very effective and the youths interceded for themselves and their families. 2. In November 2021, an online discussion under the theme: Thrive to Survive- “How to maintain your salvation in these trying times”. The session was well attended by the churches within our region and was very informative and empowering. 3. In February 2022, the region hosted a fundraising event entitled “Culturama”, the event event showcased different talents from the churches within our region. National Events Only one National event was held during the reporting period as others were not executed due to the pandemic. Our region participated in Talent Hunt last November and we emerged third 3rd place. 18

Financial Update The region currently has insufficient funds as there was only one fundraising activity within the reporting year. However, it is the aim of the region to raise funds through different fund raising activities in the present year. Challenges 1. Our region is continues to be affected by rural/urban and international migration due to the fact that some youths are currently enrolled in Universities and other opportunities. 2. Most churches in the region mainly has children who falls below the youth fellowship age groups. Hence their participation in various activities are impacted. 3. There are currently five churches within the region with a strong youth department. 4. Youths seem to be uninspired and only a few are willing to dedicate themselves to serve. Hence, there are positions that are not filled on our executive board. 5. The lack of internet connections during the pandemic Upcoming Regional Youth Activities 1. Month of August- Regional Youth Fellowship (Online) August 20, 2022 2. Month of September- Visitation of Fellowships within our Clusters 3. Month of October- Annual Youths Week of Prayer Meeting October 2nd – 7th 2022 - Regional Online Bible Studies- October 15, 2022 4. Month of November- Talent Hunt Preparations 5. Month of December- Regional Christmas Pageant- December 17, 2022 - Regional Charity Event- Feeding the Homeless 6. Month of January 2022- Night of Youth Revival- (Praise, Prayer and Power) Date to be announced. 7. Month of February 2022- Regional Culturama- Date to be announced. Commendations 1. We express gratitude to our Regional Chairman, Deacon Levy who has been providing adequate assistance to us. 2. To the executive members who have been working assiduously over the years 3. Rev. Linval Francis and the Longville Park Church of God for hosting our Convention. 4. Pastors and congregations that have been a great help financially and otherwise. 19

Conclusion In spite of the challenges Region 4 Youths are committed to working together in order to strengthen each other and to reach the youths in our communities. We desire to grow spiritually and to become youths who positively impact our society. Throughout the pandemic we hosted regional youth fellowship online and for the most part same was well attended. We also realized that the lack of proper internet connections in some areas have impacted attendances and participation. While, we transition to face to face events we are optimistic that the youths of region 4 will be grow from strength to strength and continue to serve to survive. Finance Chairman's Report 2021 to 2022 Thanks be to God for His enduring blessings throughout the year. The 20 churches in Region 4 have kept their doors open throughout the year. What a joy. During this trying time the churches have committed themselves to giving to the Region. Yes, it is a fact that all have not given as they should. It is also a fact that the Region is expecting such obligation to be honored in the coming weeks. Let us be forthright and make giving a part of us in 2022 - 2023. \"You have sown much and bring in little, you eat but you have not enough; you drink, but you are not filled with drink; you clothe yourselves, but there is none warm and he that earn wages; earns wages to put into a bag with holes: Thus says the Lord of hosts. Consider your ways. \" ( Haggai 1:6&7). The blessings of God be with us all in the year 2022 - 2023 21

REPORT FROM THE VARIOUS CONGREGATIONS REPORT ON IRON GATE Iron gate church has come a far way. We are still having Sunday school but not many children are coming out. However, we got the light reconnected at the church and the roof has been refurbished. Additionally, the church has been repainted and as such we had a rally of praise and thanks giving that was not well supported by the region, but we give thanks to God for those who supported us. Iron Gate is proud to boast a small PA system. The church had an appreciation service along with a weekend crusade. In addition to that, we have two new members in the church and I am just giving God praise and thanks for what he is doing in Iron Gate. The word of God says that he that winneth souls is wise. Submitted by Evangelist Yvonne Wolfe REPORT ON CAVE VALLEY COG Great is thy Lord and greatly to be praised. The church chapel is still open. We the pastor and brethren are still on the battle field for the Lord. In spite of covid -19 and other issues, the Lord has kept us through. Since the pandemic, we have not had any activities; all plans fell through, but we still have Sunday worship, Tuesday prayer meetings and a few fasting. We fellowship with James Hill congregation on other events, We the members of Cave Valley trust that over time we will be looking for help from the region for even three nights of evangelistic crusade to help get back strength to move forward. We know that with God all things are possible. Continue to pray for our strength as we are determined to continue with God’s help. Submitted by Junie Townsend 22

REPORT ON LUCKY VALLEY 2021 - 2022 \"For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power and love and of a sound mind.\"(2nd Timothy 1:7) It was a good year for the Lucky Valley congregation. There was no new convert, however, the church continues to hold on to the unchanging hands of God. The members continue to visit other churches in the area as well as Region 4 churches and functions. The visit to Sister L. Crawford home in Longville Park was commendable. The church held its annual harvest at the Caballeros home in April and it was a success. For the next year the church will continue to do more home visits to its shut-in members. \".........for I know whom I have believed and I am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed to Him against that day. \"(2nd Timothy 1:12) Members are: Females 4 Males 5 REPORT ON NEW LONGVILLE 2021-2022 \"If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.\" (1Corinthians 15 :19) It has been a challenging year at New Longville. We commenced the year with 7 females and 3 males. One female was added in June. The church membership is not as it should be as persons are still staying away from communal worship. Nevertheless, there has been a steady attendance of community dwellers which is encouraging. Night services has still not resumed. We are embarking on home visits. Every 4th Sunday we have been doing home visits immediately after our Bible quiz and Scripture reading. \"For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power.\" (1Corinthians 4:20) Submitted by Deacon Ransford Wright 23

REPORT FROM BURBY We mean to go right on until the crown is won. Amidst the pandemic the mission at Burby is going on . our Sunday attendance is up and down but we are still able to carry out successful activities Events * Annual Thanksgiving Service was held the last Sunday in November and offering was given to treat the elderly and shut in on Boxing Day * Christmas morning and watch night services were held, and were fairly attended. * We had a treat for our Sunday School children in December * We had Harvest Thanksgiving Service. The funds made was used to set up a soup kitchen for the elderly and shut-ins. We fed them, ministered to them and signed documents where necessary. * In May the Sunday School students participate in convention. In May robbers invaded the compound and stole the PA system, refrigerator, stove and blender. Presently, we are trying to secure the premises. We have not lost any members, but the zeal and energy has disappeared. There is much work, but the labourers are few. We are going to embark on a house-to-house campaign and try to revive the WCG. RADA has volunteered to assist us in training sessions for ladies and young people however we need a stove and a refrigerator. but we will start with what we have. No baptism was done this year, but with God as our guide we will continue to run the race Submitted by Rev. Rhona Whyte. (pastor) 24

LONGVILLE PARK COG REPORT (AUGUST 2021 TO JULY 2022) “The will of God will never take you to where the grace of God will not protect you” (Bernadette Devlin). Truly the grace of God was with us throughout this period and still remains with us. Despite the many challenges and struggles the church doors remain open. Like all or many other churches the commitment of the members were challenged and we experienced low attendance at times, nevertheless the faithful ones continue to worship God in the beauty of Holiness, still engage prayer and fasting. The church still continues to have regular services, dedication of babies, baptismal services, Sunday School and bible study (online). Number of Baby dedicated 2 Number of Persons baptized 3 Activities: • Divine Sunday Worship • Prayer meeting and Bible Study • Quarterly Week of Prayer and Fasting • Sunday School • WCG meetings • Youth Meeting • Hosting of Regional Youth Convention Initiative to be taken: • Open Air Meetings and other evangelistic thrusts • More activities to engage the community • Fun day • Church Opening Service • Rally We will continue to seek meaningful ways to grow the church numerically, qualitatively and spiritually. The storms of life are real but because Jesus is on board with us, we are able to experience peace in the midst of the storm and a deeper appreciation of who our God really is. Total Membership Whitney COG Clarks Town COG Membership 2020- 2021 18 2 Present Number of 44 12 Males Present Number of Females Death 1 Table 1: Demonstrates the total demography of the Whitney and Clarks Town Circuit of Churches. Greetings and Introduction Glory to the King of kings for his continuous blessings. I humbly greet our Zone Supervisor Rev Dexter Johnson, Regional Chairman Deacon Levy, the Regional Executive, Pastors and Members of the various congregations within our region. It is with esteemed pleasure I present to you a reflection on the Whitney Circuit of Churches for the year 2021-2022. We bless God for safely taking us through the difficult days and we are thankful that he continues to remain faithful In the past year we regrettably said goodbye one member from the Whitney congregation. However, we gladly welcomed some new ‘babies’ to the Kingdom of God. The Whitney Church welcomed a total of nine (5) new members, who were recommitted to the Lord and received. 27

General Conventions General Convention 2022 at Whitney was held in the month of March 2022 under the theme “Keep Connected… Stay Committed.” The convention was a blessed one as many lives were impacted and a soul born for the kingdom. While, Clarks Town’s General Convention took place in the month of November 2022 and commenced with a Thanksgiving service. Evangelism and Outreach Ministry Evangelism and outreach ministry continues to be fruitful, through the various departments in our churches. While we have not had regular meetings in Foga since the pandemic, we recently hosted an evangelistic outreach service in the community. Women and Men’s Ministry The women of the Whitney COG meet weekly on a Thursday night, while the Men meet occasionally. Furthermore, the men of the Whitney COG hosted their first Men’s Seminar in the month of February 2022. This was a very good seminar and our speakers were our Executive Chairman and the National Men’s President. Men’s crusade was held in July 2022, this consisted of three nights of street meetings within three communities connected to the church. The experience was fruitful and we continue to see impact from the Evangelistic Services. On the other hand, the women’s group at Whitney held their Prayer Breakfast in the month of November 2021. They continue to partner with the women in the Clarks Town church to assist other women who are in need of their assistance. The women are also actively engaged in their outreach ministries in the form of street walks, which continues to impact the church community and neighboring communities. The women of the church are also committed to praying around the watches; every three hours on our WhatsApp group. The Clarks Town church has only one man; hence there is currently no active Men’s ministry. Nevertheless, he actively participates in the men’s department at Whitney. Sunday School Ministry The future church within the circuit continues to progress. This is evident as we have been blessed with new children each week for Sunday school. The children actively participate and are always willing to boldly declare to the congregation what they learned in their various classes. Presently we have been upgraded to (4) classes with students ranging from the ages of 2- 17 and an adult class. On a regular Sunday there are often approximately 70 students present for Sunday school. 28

Furthermore, we then hosted our own children’s Sunday at Whitney in the month of May, where the children were able to “Speak up and Speak out” on issues they are faced with. Youth Ministry The youths in the circuit have been impacted since the pandemic as youths have been showing signs of discouragements. The fact that most of the youth reside outside the church community the hosting of physical weekly fellowships have been impacted severely. As a result we have been hosting meeting online fellowships at different intervals with the aim of restoring our fellowship. Since the pandemic the youths have been engaged in daily whatsapp devotions and encouragements which have been insightful and impacting. Clarks Town currently has no active youth fellowship as most of the young people migrated from the community. Building Project Our sanctuary at Whitney remains under construction and we are gradually progressing to building our future church. We are grateful to the National Men of the Church of God and our Region’s men for assisting us greatly on one of our work days. We continue to seek financial assistance as our church is made up mainly of young people. Nevertheless, we bless God for progress and are very optimistic about its completion. Pastoral Recognition and Appreciation The circuit seized the opportunity to honour their pastor and her spouse in the month of July 2022. The appreciation service was a great success and gratitude is extended to the members of the circuit, the region and other congregations who supported the initiative. Challenges The main challenge we continue to experience is the distance. However, the transportation challenge we had is almost non-existent, as God has blessed us and we now have access to a coaster bus. In addition, since most members within circuit are either students or unemployed , we often times encounter financial struggles. Clarks Town continues to face a challenge in the church’s growth. To assist with this issue, mature individuals from Whitney continue to attend to Clarks Town to assist with services. We continue to pray and work assiduously to encourage the members and to ensure that the church continues to progress. We are pleased that the land issue with the Clarks Town Church is now non-existent. Recommendation and Conclusion We remain grateful to those who have been supporting us within our circuit. We recognize our Zone Supervisor who remains committed to helping us along with our Regional Chairman. 29

The circuit continues to embrace Philippians 4 v13 that we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength. With that in mind the leaders and members of the circuit serve in the ministry of the Church of God in Jamaica. God blessings on You All!!!! Submitted by Rev. Since our last regional convention, the May Pen Church of God has seen a shift in dynamism, chiefly in our ability to gather in the chapel without any major prohibition. However, we have continued to experience some challenges, resulting from two years physical absence and covid restrictions. It is fair to say that whilst some members have returned with a determination to serve the Lord, it is not the same for other members. Some have become disaffectionate and no longer come to worship as before, and so, it is a struggle to get back into the chapel space. Some of our elderlies have become feeble and physically challenge, and have now requires church visit. Some annual activities of the church were partially postponed for safety and health. such as crusade, Christian family Fellowship Retreat, mother's day special concert and the men's annual concert. REPORT ON CHAPELTON COG This year has been another year of mixed circumstances: challenges that tested the mettle of the church; and victories that we have to celebrate in Christ Jesus. As a part of the challenges, the Delta variant affected the church even in the latter half of 2021, as for some time, the no- movement days that were scheduled on Sundays, negatively affecting some of the church activities. Christmas Activities The church had its usual Christmas Sunday service on December 26, 2022, which commemorates the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Following the service, later in the evening, the young adults and youths hosted the Christmas concert and presented the Christmas play, which was done as a full video recorded movie for the second time in succession. The concert was done live before a physical and virtual audience. The Christmas movie, produced by the church, was shown to both sets of audiences. The title of the movie was “The Guest of Honour ''. Thanks to Sis. Karen Gordon, the cast members and all who participated in the night’s presentation. Evangelistic Outreach Not many evangelistic measures were done throughout the time period. However, the church partnered with the region in one other their outreach and also hosted three nights of local evangelistic outreach meetings. Visitation Understandably, and upon advice, the church avoided visitation for much of the year. As the threat of pandemic wore off, with wisdom the visiting teams reached to members, especially the shut-ins. Sunday Church Services Due to the effects of the pandemic in the 2nd half of 2021, the church’s Sunday services transitioned between face-to-face and online. God has been good to His people, as He still allowed us to engage the church members and community. Apart from some tweaking throughout the year, persons and groups took charge of the normally scheduled Sundays. When the measures were relaxed, persons gradually came out and worshiped at the chapel, while others joined via Facebook. Night Services Night services were scheduled on Wednesdays and they were designated for Bible Study and Prayer meetings. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, members also meet on the Zoom platform for prayer meetings. 32

Baptism Six persons were baptised at church on Sunday, August 14, 2022. Five of the candidates were from Chapelton church, while one was from the Iron Gate church. Auxiliaries of the Church Despite the challenges, the various auxiliaries made the effort to meet. The WCG and MCG meet mainly on the 2nd Wednesday each month. The Youth Fellowship group continues to engage the young ones on Fridays. The Sunday school classes went back into full face-to-face mode after the pandemic’s effect wore off. Online Platform Support Systems with Church Affairs Even after the pandemic, the church continues to effectively use the online various online platforms: Facebook, Zoom and WhatsApp. These platforms facilitated the broadcasting of services and events and were also used mainly to as an information and ministry centre. Church’s 110 Anniversary The year 2022, marks 110 of existence. A team was put together to plan, organize and execute activities for the church’s 110 anniversary. Part of the church’s plans is to have it painted Much of the plans have not come to fruition, due to certain challenges. However, we give God thanks and continue to work on getting as much activities done. Region’s MCG Convention The church hosted the region’s MCG Convention in October 2021. This service was broadcasted on the Zoom platform to facilitate the viewing and participation of members of the various churches in the region. Church Union In April 2022, the membership of the church was boosted, as members of the Global Advance Ministries (GLAD) were incorporated in the church. Today, being one church, we actively work together to enhance the Kingdom of God. Rally The Council has agreed to forgo our Annual rally for the year 2021. 33

Roofing of Church We, the members give God thanks for the completion of the roofing of the main section of the church. The only section that needs to be addressed is that area where the restroom and a Sunday school are located. Painting of the Church Building The leaders and members are presently embarking on a project to paint the church during its 110th year anniversary. Persons have stated to make contributions towards this venture. The painting will start in mid-August and will proceed, by faith, as the necessary funds come in. Partnership with the Fergus Simpson Foundation The church continues to partner with Fergus Simpson Foundation (FSF) to help fulfil some of its ministry of helps. For the period in question, the church has collaborated with FSF to supply care packages to the community, to engage students in FSF/COG Summer Camp, to host an Independence Production, entitled ‘The Call’, and to address many other church and community- related projects. Thanks to FSF for their constant support. Thanks much to Pastor Linval Levy for his trademark high level of commitment and versatile way of leading. It is quite obvious that the Almighty God is using him immensely. Also, thanks to the rest of the leadership bodies (the boards, committees and groups). Thanks to the congregation for staying connected to God and the church in these trying times. To all who supported the church in any way, thanks. Finally, thanks to the Almighty God for being our source of everything. Submitted by Gareth Gordon (Chairman) Chapelton Church Council 34
