They are also an excellentway for children to access high quality programs that develop their athletic potential, inspire crea-tive expression, stimulate innovation, and forge leadership ability.All After School Activities are ministered in English, are offered, for Lower School students(Preschool to 5th grade).New Coordinator Activity proposals will only be accepted for the next school year. Existing activi-ties will be maintained if a new proposal for extension is submitted until the deadline.In order to safeguard the continuity of all activities, please read this document carefully and sendyour confirmation to [email protected] by Wednesday, January 9th, 2019.Activities’ dates and times:The ASAP is directed to the LS audience and runs for an extra hour after school. There will be amonthly fee for parents. Mondays through Thursdays—from 3:35pm to 4:35pm (The Activity Coordinator or assistant should be ready to pick up students at 3:25pm when the bell rings at the Mezzanine). Fridays from 3:10 pm to 4:10pm (The Activity Coordinator or assistant should be ready to pick up students at 3pm when the bell rings at the Mezzanine). Activities may take place once or twice a week (Note that you can have different “once a week” groups considering different age groups. Ex. Meditation—Monday, PS-2nd grade / Wednesday, 3rd-5th).Dates: The ASAP will start on Monday, February 4th and will end on June 14th.Quorum and Ratio Teacher/Student: A quorum of a minimum of 5 students (or specific number established by the Activity Coordinator) is necessary for the activity to be proposed. If the minimum quorum is not reached, you will be able to make a new proposal the following semester. Materials and Snacks: Materials: Each activity demands different materials. Be sure that if your class has a material fee that it is ei- ther embedded in your price, and explicit to parents. Make sure you are clear about whether it is a monthly fee or a semester fee. Materials can range from uniforms, to appropriate shoes or ap- parel, or food for cooking, etc.
