Solar Home Lighting System The domestic Solar Home Lighting System is an independent system installed in individual houses in a community. Each set comes with its own Solar Panel and Battery, 4 LED Lamps and the facility to charge basic mobile phones. It is possible to connect a DC fan instead of 4 lamps to this system. LED Solar Lantern: (12 Volt 3 Watts)A Solar Photovoltaic Lantern is a lighting system consisting of a LED lamp,battery and electronics, placed in a suitable housing made of plastic orpolycarbonate, and a PV module.The battery is charged by electricity generated through the PV module (12V,10W). The lantern is basically a portable Lighting device suitable for eitherindoors or outdoor lighting. The LED Solar Lantern can be used for 5 – 6 hours oflighting after it’s fully charged.The LED Solar Lantern costs $70 Page 6 of 22
