Well, when we use fossil fuels like natural gas to keep our home warm or gasoline for our car, these things create carbon dioxide, also called CO2. Carbon dioxide is called a greenhouse gas. Many scientists believe thatgreenhouse gases are making the earth too warm.Your carbon footprint is the total amount of CO2 youcreate. You leave footprints when you walk in thesand, the mud and when you've got wet feet. Youalso leave something called a carbon footprint. Youcan't see your carbon footprint, but it impacts theearth and leaves a mark just like the ones in thesand and the mud. Do you know your carbonfootprint? Scan the QRC below to find out.
