Bay, South Africa. www.wildlife- research.comWILDLIFE CONSERVATION PROGRAM This program is a highly regarded and sought afteropportunity that caters to both wildlife enthusiasts of all agesand university age students looking to enter the conservationand wildlife industry. The Wildlife Conservation Program runsthroughout each month of the year with a new programbeginning each month and lasting the duration of that month.We recommend this course to those thinking about entering thewildlife industry on any continent to better ascertain if reservework, wildlife management, conservation, or research roles area more appropriate field to enter upon graduation. The course isdesigned to expose students to the art of tracking wildlife thatare not habituated to humans so that they may learn to safelyencounter, approach, and work in areas where potentiallydangerous animals are present; and to also provide fieldexperience working on long term conservation projects thatreach their goals through research aims.Duration: 1 calendar month minimumLocation: Mossel Bay, South AfricaRequirements: Fluent spoken English, 18+ years of age, passionfor nature, of reasonable physical and mental health

Send an email [email protected] with your completed resume and a paragraph or two aboutyourself in the body of the email, as well as which program you are interested in. A memberof the reservations department will respond shortly to your enquiry and with answers to anyof your immediate questions.Step Two: After receiving the registration document please complete the form and return itto us at your earliest convenience with accuracy to the best of your ability with the necessarydocumentation.Step Three: Please wait patiently for a response from our reservations department as yourregistration is being processed. Feel free to use this time to begin searching for possible flightto the George (GRJ) Airport, George South Africa.Step Four: Upon receiving confirmation from our reservations department of placement, itwill now be time to begin the other necessary plans for your trip; the first of which is securingyour chosen placement with the ZAR 5,000 deposit which must be received no less than 30days prior to your arrival.Step Five: Begin researching whether your nationality requires a visa to enter South Africaand obtain said visa if necessary.Step Six: Book your preferred round-trip flights and send through the itinerary to ourreservation department ([email protected])Step Seven: It is highly recommended that each person traveling to South Africa obtainmedical/travel insurance for the duration of their stay. Please also send this informationthrough to our reservations department.Step Eight: Complete payment of your placement. The full amount is to be received no lessthan 14 days prior to your arrival in South Africa, however you may feel free to settle theamount earlier.

Step Nine: Begin packing and get excited for your South African adventure (please seepacking list below).ARRIVING IN SOUTH AFRICA  Upon landing at your final destination of George Airport (GRJ) one of the Nkonzo Team will meet you in order to transport you to your accommodation in Mossel Bay.  Once at the accommodation facility you will be greeted by remaining team members who will ensure you settle in comfortably and give you the plan for the following days.PROGRAM STIPULATIONS Please ensure that you understand all details and stipulations set out for the programto ensure an enjoyable experience in South Africa.Included with program fee  Breakfast 7 days per week and lunch Monday-Friday  Conservation fees  Work related transported  Shared accommodation (dorm style)  24/7 emergency standby team  all training and training material  Nkonzo Bush Academy text bookNot included (available at student’s own expense)  All dinners (fully equipped self-catering kitchen available with grocery stores within safe walking distance)  Curios and other souvenirs are not included in the program fee but can be purchased at student’s own expense  Weekend activities are not included with the program fee and partaking in said activities, not supervised by Nkonzo Bush Academy, will be at the student’s own risk.  Flights  Visa  Anything not stated above
