D.A.V.INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, KHARGHAR ‘kaleidoscope’ E-BROCHURE APRIL-JULY 2020-2021 PRIMARY SECTION III-V
FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK ‘ Education is not the learning of facts, but training of mind to think’ Albert Einstein I feel honoured and privileged to be a part of an educational institution where every stakeholder is a learner and everyday is an opportunity to learn and discover. We look at ourselves as a community of learners, where everyone learns including the teachers, parents and the students. We believe in upholding the high standards with an absolute commitment to strive, to understand and improve the educational process, using team strategies, while wholly centering on child achievement. Education is a lifelong learning process. Learning happens all the time, not only in a pre-designated place called school, it happens within the precincts of home, between home and school too. Therefore, the mission of both home and school is to provide a learning environment and good opportunities to children so that they learn. Our dedicated teaching team engages children in stimulating and meaningful learning while always promoting the social and emotional development of the child. The teachers provide an environment that reflects the need and interest of children while promoting individual student voice, choice and interest quotient. The learning of any child involves and revolves around an effective partnership between home and school. The stronger the partnership, the more the child benefits. Parental involvement in a child’s education process is a gift to your child and a gift to the school. The partnership is strongly encouraged and highly valued at DAV International School, Kharghar.
