GANGWON-DO, SOUKTOHREA
WHERE I GREW UP
A ccording to my father, my grandfather, who used to work as a carpenter, built this house by himself. It was built even before my father was born. My father was born and raised in the house, and it still stays there perfecly just the way it is ever since he was young; and ever since I was young. To the best of my memory, we used to have three cows in a barn. I used to be afraid but kind of love feeding them at the same time as a kid. Also, we used to have a lot of different dogs before all of them were attacked by wild raccoons and badgers. My cousins and I used to go fishing at the river or sled riding on the mountain in winter, which we graually stopped doing after growing up. Now I look back and think about all those forgotten things that stay in the past. Even though time has passed, those forgotten things will never be forgotten as long as the house stays there.
To my grandparents, father, and the house.
