NABA Baruch is one of the largest and strongest chapters in the nation. Here at the Baruch chapter we focus heavily on professionalism, mentorship, scholarship, and service. This year’s theme is “Heighten Your Horizon, Dare to Excel Beyond the Possibilities”. Through the support that you provide our students have been able to achieve so much in such a short amount of time. Our success is due in part to you. We could not be more grateful to have your continuous support and guidance each and every single year. I would like to personally thank our dedicated alumni. You are the backbone of our chapter and it is your legacy that we continue to carry on. We also appreciated that our corporate partners understand the importance of diversity and the value of our students – you believe in their futures and you have opened doors like no other. I would like to thank NABA NY and CUNY who are always cheering us on and involved in our growth as a chapter. 39th Annual Awards Dinner KEYNOTE SPEAKER Steve Johnson TAX PARTNER, PRICEWATERHOUSECOOPERSSteve is a tax partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers' Stamford, CTpractice. He has more than 20 years of experience consulting on UScorporate income tax issues including state and local taxation, mergersand acquisition planning, due diligence analysis, and tax minimizationstrategies.In addition, Steve has significant expertise dealing with the IRS andlocal tax authorities on income tax audits, audit appeals, and letterruling requests. He has spent his entire career with PwC and has workedon many different types of clients from early stage, growth companies,to mid-size high growth companies, foreign in-bound companies andlarge SEC registrants.Steve is a CPA in the State of New York and Connecticut and is admittedto the Bar in Michigan and the US Tax Court. Steve’s industry experienceincludes working with companies in the services, retail, distribution,and manufacturing sectors.
