THE MACALLAN 12 Years Old The Distillery The long journey from acorn to glass begins in the forests of Galicia, Cantabria and Asturias in northern Spain. In these ancient forests grow the mighty Spanish oaks that one day will provide the casks in with The Macallan Sherry Oak is matured. THE SIX ISLES Blended whisky The Distillery The Six Isles is a blended malt that should be a ‘true reflec- tion of the Isles’. It contains 6 whiskies from Islay, Jura, Skye, Mull, Orkney and Arran. Skye with Talisker, Mull with Tobermory (probably the peated Ledaig), Orkney with High- land Park (since the back label says ‘Orcadian Malt’, so not Scapa), Arran with Arran Malt. YAMAZAKI 10 Years Old The Distillery YAMAZAKI is Japan's first and oldest distillery, established in 1923 by Suntory's founder Shinjiro Torii. Inspired by tradi- tional Scottish whisky, Torii envisioned a Japanese ap- proach by choosing a terrain and climate completely differ- ent to those of Scotland to create a unique kind of whisky. Yamazaki is thus the birthplace of Japanese whisky. Today, Yamazaki is not only the \"number-one\" single malt whisky in Japan, but is enjoyed in more than twenty-five countries. THE ARRAN SINGLE MALT 10 YEARS OLD The Distillery A dynamic new force in the Scotch whisky industry, Isle of Arran Distillers is one of the few remaining independent distilleries in Scotland.They are based at Lochranza on the Isle of Arran, one of the most beautiful and famous in Scot- land which located on he West Coast between Ayrshire and Kintyre. Description The initial rush of rich vanilla sweetness gives way to the fruits of slow distilla- tion kiwi, banana, cantaloupe melon with just a dusting of cocoa powder. It is undoubtedly complex and yet the aromas are in complete harmony with the Appearance Ripe Golden Barley. Nose Herbal, biscuity, hedgerow greenness and dried grass, like a long English summer afternoon. Palate Sweet. Quite malty, digestive biscuits, followed by green fruits and Cox's apple peel. KA LA VAN SINGLE MALT WHISKY The Distillery The distillery is named after the indigenous Kavalan people, who originally inhabited the Kabalan Plain of modern-day Yilan County. The distillery was completed in December 2005, produced its first spirit in March 2006, and released it’s first bottling in December 2008. Kavalan distillery continues the tradition of passionate commitment to creating the premium whisky. The effort goes into every drop of new make spirit and every seasoned cask we choose. Description Clean, elegant, floral, fruity and seductive. With hints of honey and tropical fruits. Appearance Lively and passionate amber.
