By: Javeria Bashir ITCH I dwell in agony, behind W the curtains IC I paint my soul with H miscellaneous incense TOG My intoxicated mind dares I've been watching you here for sometime to dream On the shoulder of the stars, my lonesome screams In cold arms of the gothic castle Dampened my toes and the tarn startled Losing game over the frozen tears She died in blaze, bled in diamonds In solitude, I've been here for a while While she holds her space from a distance For the adventures her exquisite self carries There are days when the glistening rays & the light flicker When in the waves, in silence, in stillness She touches me then leaves, & repeats & I write & she removes & I draw & she wipes Now that I see her, sinking into the sand, myself Each time takes my own breath away, La Vida Softly she fills in me, all her transparency, in all the ways Permeating into me, into my soul, she rants Been skating on the sea, reclaiming their realm Striders, owns the shore & the silent force While she let go of her roar, the pearls escapes TIMES S She hunts the treasure, and the surf sizzles H All I know, All I hear, soliloquy A place knowing & purifying, La Mar E C SESSERA 49
