CHAPTER 3: IT’S THE LITTLE THINGS ‘Thank you again, 86,’ replied 88 as she glanced around. ‘Oh, where is 66? I bet he’s taking photos and uploading them again. He’s been acting very suspiciously lately; ever since he last went to , in fact.’ Eventually, 66 returned. ‘And where have you been?’ 88 asked – well, tutted. ‘I need help lifting this new bag of organic flour that 86 has kindly made for us.’ ‘How about a little photo first?’ suggested 66 as he held up his new Phone 99. ‘I can post it on the internet along with the picture of the monster bear I took.’ ‘Oh, that picture was amazing,’ remarked 86. ‘Just one question: was that photo real or was it fake?’ he asked. ‘Real. Let’s just say you’re going to be spending an awful long time doing the washing up over the next few weeks.’ 66 said nothing in reply. After taking a very quick photo, he simply slipped his phone back in his pocket, lifted the bag of flour in both hands, and was then marched swiftly back to by 88, who pulled him by the string of his apron… tightly.
