CONTINUING EDUCATION International Professional Programs Continuing Education International Professional Programs are full-time, professional development certificate programs that provide students with skills sought by employers. Students in these designated programs are eligible to apply for study permits. Upon completion, students can apply for post-graduate work permits that will allow them to work in friendly and beautiful Calgary, or elsewhere in Canada. All International Professional Programs require in-person attendance. Eight-Month Program One-Year Programs Our eight-month program includes three certificates that These programs include multiple certificates and are focus on professional and human resource management. designed to provide expertise in a chosen professional field and leadership skills needed to competently lead a team, ž Professional Management Stream increase employee engagement, enhance performance and productivity, and contribute to the success of an organization. Terms: Two 4 month terms Admission: Fall, Winter, Spring ž Business Analysis, Intelligence and Analytics Stream Course hours: Approximately 200 hours/term ž Digital Media and Marketing Stream ž Project Management Stream Terms: Three 4 month terms Admission: Fall and Winter Course hours: Approximately 215 hours/term Each specialization will provide the graduate with a leadership certificate and multiple complementary technical certificates that include shared courses, allowing the student to achieve their credentials in less time. Interested in more than one stream? Students can complete more than one program consecutively. For example, a student may choose to take the Business Analysis, Intelligence and Analytics program followed by the Digital Media and Marketing program. Where duplicate certificates occur in both streams, courses will be omitted and tuition reduced. If you choose to take consecutive programs, we recommend that you apply for all programs at the same time. This allows you to apply for a study permit that covers the duration of both programs. Students completing consecutive one-year programs may be eligible for a three-year Post Graduate Work Permit.
