The projects were coordinated by the District during Rotaract week touching two out of Rotary’s seven areas of focus The Ogun West and Central’s project focused on Basic Education and Literacy Project involving the donation of 150 exercise books to pupils of NUD Nursery and Primary School, Ifo in Ogun state. The Lagos West area had a disease prevention and treatment project involving free eye screening and donation of medicated glasses at Odumbaku Primary Health Center, Orile Agege. Not less than 130 people were screened and at least 60 beneciaries of free medicated glasses were recorded in the project. Also, the Lagos Central has blood donation drive in collaboration with Lagos State Blood Transfusion Service (LSBTS) on Saturday 19th March, 2022 at Rotary Center Ladoke Akintola Street, Ikeja, Lagos state. The paparazzi, the ambience of the environment and colorful attires set the mood for the beautiful gala night. The red carpet was busy while 300 Rotaractors and friends of Rotary engulfed in camaraderie. There was also quiz competition in which Rotaractor Oluwadamilola Adejobi emerged the winner of the quiz competition while Rtr Victor Adeyanju and Rtr Toluwanimi Babafemi emerged Mr & Miss Rotaract being the winner of the male and female category of pageantry contest. It was all music and dance as Rotaractors lined to present the DRRN and unveil the DRRN in the uniform merchandise. The DRRE addressed the Rotaractors and unveiled the next conference. The event was declared close by the DRR at about 5:50am. 9
