A Letter From the Editor...I am very excited to share this magazine withyou. It has been a long time coming. I reallyenjoyed the process of creating every aspectof the magazine and am very proud to sayevery picture you see was taken by me.To begin, I have a couple of things I wish toacknowledge: First, the title of the magazineis “Idee Moda,” because in Italian it means“Fashion Ideas,” which I thought was fitting.Next, I’d like to note that every model includ-ed in this magazine are high school friendsand I’d like to personally thank each of themfor being so willing to help me by being soopen and giving their time with all of theirbusy schedules as well as providing their ownclothes, styling, and being able to provideme with the information I needed to give thereaders an idea of where each of the itemswere purchased.Lastly, I hope you enjoy looking through andreading this magazine. I put a lot of time andeffort into creating a professional publicationand I hope that is reflected in the content.Because of this senior project and experi-ence, I will be pursuing a degree in MagazineJournalism at Kent State University, so I’mvery thankful for getting the opportunity topractice work in the field.I’d like to also thank my teachers and men-tors and anyone who helped me in creatingthis magazine.- Rose Driehaus
Fall FashionFall is a fabulous time of the year for fashion; the weather is chang-ing, the leaves are falling, and people everywhere are trading theirlight, cool clothing for comfy layers. The essential color scheme forfall fashion mirror nature and include shades of orange, yellow, red, brown, white, blue, and black.A perfect fall look includes multiple textures, colors, and patterns. To begin, sweaters are a must. I’d suggest light sweaters for fall andadd a button down collared shirt underneath. If it’s not quite coldenough for a sweater, pair a long sleeved top and a fringe vest. Evensimpler, pair a loose plain tee with a cardigan and you’re good to go.As for bottoms, there are many options. Jeans are a necessity, espe-cially darker jeans. Always have a pair of leggings- they’re perfectfor any outfit! The 70s are back, so make sure to get your A-line but-ton down skirt. If you’re going with a dress, try adding a long cardi-gan and some tights underneath.Shoes are also very important in fall fashion. Add booties to com-plete any look. Another type of shoe to keep in your closet for fallis over the knee boots. For a more casual look, white converse arealways an option. If you’re going with heels, make sure they’re closetoed! Finally, accessories are definitely the best part about fall fashion.Floppy hats can add some flare to your fall outfit. Don’t forget yourjewelry!

Winter FashionIn the fashion world, winter is a very fun time of the year. The weather air is crisp, the weather is cold, and snow be-gins falling. Winter allows us to layer up and bundle upwith more accessories than normal! The color scheme to stick to includes shades of blue, white, black, gray, green, and purple.Getting the perfect look for winter doesn’t take much.Bulky cashmere sweaters are much needed to survive thecold weather. Add some jeans paired with some furry bootsand your outfit is off to a great start! For bottoms, I’d stick to a darker color, and if you go for askirt, don’t forget tights! There are tons of cute patterns tochoose from.As far as coats, parkas seem to be quite the trend this sea-son as well as peacoats. Don’t forget to top off your outfitwith a warm hat. Gloves and scarves too! There are so manyways to style winter accessories, so have fun with it andswitch it up!
