I congratulate each and every member of Rotaract Club of Kolhapur Midtown Phoenix for their wonderful effort and dedication towards the Rotaract movement. The year has almost come to an end and your club has delivered outstanding projects, massive involvement of members, connecting clubs worldwide and developed a better essence of friendship among clubs and districts. Rotaract as I say is an ocean of opportunity. It is up to us that how much we take from it. It is place to learn, to take up leadership, to expand our horizon, to make friends worldwide and ultimately develop ourselves. This year has been an indoor year for rotaract yet you have not failed to make an impression all around. Let me emphasize that this year wasn‟t the one that we expected it to be, but it has taught us many things and has empowered us to overcome any obstacle that we may face in our journey to be THE BEST. Rotaract is recognised for the good work it does; good work that will continue to grow, to endure, to go from strength to strength–making a difference to our communities, our countries and our world. Rotaractors, you have set new milestones and new magic in your club and district. I can surely say that you were able to meet all the challenges on its way most effectively with your exemplary dedication, devotion, commitment and leadership qualities giving your very best and at the same time motivating your team and members to do their best. Just always loved to say, I belong to this Club But this year was like observational for me as ZRR. I understood the strenght , power and the unity the club has. When Rtr. Nikhil Koli was selected as a president I was much confident that he will definitely take the club to newer heights and he indeed did it. Definitely he had a great team behind him to reach different goals in different avenues. The Club has grown in the Leadership of Rtr Nikhil Koli and never stopped in this pandemic too. I am rotaractor since 6 years And my journey of Rotaract has always taught me to Face challenges, help our society in several way and to Unite together to bring the best out of yourself in any Given circumstances. This year our year theme was „Love is Midtown Phoenix‟, this entire year we focused on our rotaract family bonds. Rotaractors & Rotarians togetherly bonding with the community (service above self). Also we worked on club members to increase their capabilities & strength to bring the best out of them By giving them opportunities to explore in their personal and professional Lives through Rotaract. Amidst the pandemic, we as a team analysed the needs of the society and acted on it accordingly. Memorising a rotaract journey of 365 days ,I am really glad that we have done our part successfully. We have not even completed ennumerable projects and events organised solely by our club , but this year we have done maximum collaborative projects in each and every avenue.This year our club has done excelled in International Service Avenue and has took our club to newer heights. We as Rotaractors along with my team have definitely tried to touch lives. Afterall that‟s what rotaract is meant for, to touch lives. Let‟s keep touching lives. Let‟s keep exploring. Just knowing the bits and bytes to the secretary of this club of maintaing the records, understanding each and every member and their strength and weakness was a beautiful journey of learning, being more nicer person, keeping calm and balancing things. The most best thing which I loved as being secretary of this club was the vote of thanks speech at the last. Because I use to love appreciating the members of our club who were standing strong behind us as the strongest pillars and were working really hard. Their presence made this year most successful. I still remember the installation day where someone challenged about president choosing 2 secretaries but we were all aware about our work, privacy and space and the yearly plans. ROTARACT CLUB OF KOLHAPUR MIDTOWN PHOENIX CLUB SECRETARY REPORTING MESSAGE Olá Amigos!! I joined Rotaract in year 2019. I was just a member for two rota years but I got an opportunity to get to know about the Rotaract work & it‟s ways very closely when I became the Secretary (Reporting) for the Rota Year 2020-21. I was excited about working with Rtr Nikhil Koli who was the President. I was well known about the social work he has carried out in his life. After many years the club was going to get two secretaries working together under the President. It was quite challenging for Nikhil too but he accepted it. “The trio” is what I‟ll call three of us. Right from the first day to the last few remaining days of our Rota year we were always together in all the decisions, work and nothing could apart us. Talking about the Reporting thing I quite enjoyed it. Rtr Anish helped me in many ways for it though. Many of the past Presidents & Secretaries say reporting is the most important & tedious job which requires patience to complete. Completing the reports in time & not cashing a headache to President about it throughout the year was the best. I would continue to keep this post for next years too if provided. Overall the year was filled with many ups & downs, the pandemic making it boring but yet finding the way out to do the projects & conducting them smoothly was easy with the help of all the BoD‟s & the members. As we all know “Fortis Fortuna Adiuvat” or “fortune favors the brave” the trio always stood brave as a Lion facing all the challenges and overcoming on them. These days will be missed!! ❤ Thank You…!
