SHIVAJI COLLEGE OF EDUCATION ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION Candidates who have obtained the Bachelor's degree from KUD or any other university recognized by UGC. * Minimum 45% for marks in the aggregate of three years of study in respect of candidate belonging to SC/ST, Physically handicapped and Cat-I candidates * Minimum 50% marks in the aggregate of three years of study in respect of the other candidates. * Candidates other than Karnatak University Dharwad should obtain Eligibility Certificate from Karnatak University Dharwad before the Admission. SHIVAJI COLLEGE OF EDUCATION GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS OF THE COLLEGE 01. The trainee should attend the College prayer everyday. 02. Minimum 90% of attendance per Semister is compulsory to appear in the Examination. 03. In emergency if any trainee needs leave, he/she should get the prior permission from the principal. 04. Teacher trainee should strictly follow college dress code & should wear uniform & Identity card. 05. Everyday trainees have to read ahead and circular which is displayed on notice board. They should follow suggestion & | instruction offenly given by Principal. 06. The trainees should not participate in any illegal activities which badly affect the culture and discipline of our institution. 07. The Principal has a right to organise, continue and cancel the activity such as cultural educational and student association activities. 08. Assignment and practical work must be submitted to concerned method master within the given time period. 09. During the practice teaching the trainee has to behave politely and smoothly with Headmaster, Staff, Students, Co-trainees and their Guidance Teacher of the respective school. 10. Uses of mobile phones in the classroom are strictly prohibited. 11. Consumption of Tobacco, Gutka & intoxicated drugs are strictly prohibited in the college campus. 12. They should keep the college campus clean and plastic free. 13. They should not indulge in any anti-ragging activity, which is a punishable offence under law. 14. Any change in the residential address or mobile numbers of the teacher trainee or parents should be informed to the institution. 15. The trainees should know that breach of any of the rules and regulation of the institution will invite disciplinary action against them.
