3 ข้นั ตอนการสอนอา่ นแบบเมอร์ดอ็ ค (MIA) Step การถามนากอ่ นการอา่ น (Priming Questions) คือ กำรถำมคำถำมก่อนกำรเรยี น 1 เกย่ี วกบั เร่อื งทีจ่ ะอ่ำน เพือ่ เปน็ กำรกระตุ้นให้นักเรียนสนใจเรอ่ื งที่จะอ่ำน การทาความเขา้ ใจคาศพั ท์ (Understanding Vocabulary) คือ กำรศกึ ษำคำศพั ท์ Step 2 ที่ปรำกฏอยู่ในเร่ือง และหำควำมหมำยของคำศัพท์เพ่ือให้นักเรียนมีควำมเข้ำใจในกำร อ่ำนเนื้อเรือ่ งมำกข้นึ การอ่านเนื้อเรื่อง (Reading the Text) คือขั้นกำรอ่ำนเนื้อเร่ืองแล้ววิเครำะห์ Step ควำมสมั พันธ์ระหวำ่ งคำถำมกับคำสรรพนำมในเนือ้ เรอ่ื ง ตอบคำถำมเกย่ี วกับเร่อื งทีอ่ ่ำน 3 เพื่อกระตุ้นและส่งเสริมควำมเขำ้ ใจในกำรอ่ำน รวมถึงฝึกกำรคิดวเิ ครำะหข์ ณะอ่ำน การทาความเข้าใจเนื้อเรื่อง (Understanding the Text) คือ กำรตรวจสอบควำม Step เข้ำใจในกำรอ่ำนของนักเรียนโดยให้นักเรียนตอบคำถำมหรือเติมข้อควำมปลำยเปิดให้ 4 สมบูรณ์โดยใช้ภำษำของตนเอง การถ่ายโอนข้อมูล (Transferring Information) คือ กิจกรรมที่นักเรียนนำควำมรู้ Step ที่ได้รับจำกกำรอ่ำนมำเขียนในรูปแบบอื่น เช่น ตำรำง แผนภูมิ หรือรูปภำพตำมควำม 5 เหมำะสมของข้อมูล เพือ่ พัฒนำควำมสำมำรถดำ้ นกำรอ่ำนของนกั เรียน การทาแบบฝึกหัดตอ่ ชิ้นส่วนประโยค Step คือ กิจกรรมที่นักเรียนต้องเรียงประโยค เรื่องรำว หรือเหตุกำรณ์ที่เก่ียวข้องกับเนื้อเร่อื ง 6 และนำประโยคมำเรยี งต่อกนั ในรปู แบบของอนุเฉทให้ได้เนือ้ เรอ่ื งที่มใี จควำม การประเมินและการแกไ้ ข (Evaluation and Correction) คือ ผลควำมเข้ำใจกำร Step อ่ำนของนักเรียน คือ กิจกรรมที่นักเรียนประเมินควำมเข้ำใจจำกกำรอ่ำนเนื้อเร่ืองโดย 7 กำรแกไ้ ขคำศัพท์ที่ผิดซึ่งไม่ตรงตำมเนื้อเรือ่ งใหถ้ ูกต้องโดยกำรเขยี นคำทีถ่ ูกต้องตำมเนื้อ เรื่อง ซ่งึ นักเรียนเกิดควำมเขำ้ ใจจำกกำรอ่ำน และกำรทำแบบฝึกหดั ในขน้ั ตอนทีผ่ ่ำนมำ ที่มำ: เมอร์ดอ็ ค (Murdoch, 1986, pp9-15)
