TECH STACK We used several open-source technologies to build our product. Our product uses Python as its core programming language, a widely used and powerful programming language known for its simplicity and readability. Web Framework: We utilize the open-source web framework OpenObject. It is built on top of the Python web framework, known as \"Werkzeug,\" and uses the templating engine called \"QWeb.\" Database Management System: We use PostgreSQL open-source, it is a powerful relational database management system, but we support multiple databases. JavaScript: We heavily utilize JavaScript for client-side interactions and dynamic behavior on the user interface. It employs various JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as jQuery, Underscore.js, Backbone.js, and more. ORM (Object-Relational Mapping): We use a custom Object-Relational Mapping layer. It provides an abstraction layer that allows developers to interact with the database using Python code without writing SQL queries directly. CSS and HTML: We utilize Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for defining the visual appearance and layout of web pages. HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) is used for creating the structure and content of web pages. XML: We extensively use XML (eXtensible Markup Language) for defining data structures, views, and reports. RPC (Remote Procedure Call): We employ Remote Procedure Call for communication between the client and server.
