ABOUT ME Present continuous Tense is a tense used to talk about things that are happening and in the present.

THE STRUCTURS * Declarative sentence - S + V to be (is, am, are) + V ing * Negative Sentence - S + V to be (is, am, are) + not + V ing * Yes/No question - Verb to be (Is, Am, Are) + S + V ing ? * Wh- question - What/Where/When/Why + V to be (is, am, are) + S + V ing ?
THE PRINCIPLE OF USING PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE
1. Used for an upcoming event. There can be time clauses in a sentence such as Now, Right now, At the moment, Still and Currently. Ex. I'm watching a movie with my brother. 2. Used to talk about an event that has happened regularly for a long time. Can contain time clauses in sentences such as Constantly, Always, This week, This month and This year. Ex. She is studying hard this month 3. Used for an event that will definitely happen in the near future There can be time clauses in a sentence such as Tomorrow, Tonight, Next week, Next month, Next year and Now. Ex. She is coming to m
