In the DG meet, President (Prabhanjan Kumar) presented the Club Report of this session with the help of a small presentation. On 16-12-17 had General meeting, in which ZRR (Zone 4) Amandeep Singh Jassal, was present to guide our club in the right direction. He shared various new ideas and also invited us in their Cloth Donation drive. On 18-12-17 we had our club picnic, which was organized by President and Secretary, where we all went to Hurlung. We also had a small ani- mal feeding with our left over food to serve the noble cause as well. The picnic was an amazing event where we all had amazing time with our- selves and nature. On 19-12-17 did a joint cloth drive with RAC KCC. The event was high- ly helpful in conveying a good message of brotherhood and serving the needful at its need of the hour.Club ofDamodar Valley On 09-12-17 Rotaract damodar valley organized free dental camp at the adopted school in Ramgarh cantt. All students and local villagers were treated by Dr Alok ratan Chaudhary. We also aware the stu- dents how to make your teeth clean. On 12-12-17 we distributed dustbin mayatungri mandir and many other places for the cleanness of that holy places. On 21-12-17 Rotaract damodar valley and Rotary damodar valley along with organised mega health checkup camp at Agrasen school Dulmi. No. of Beneficiary– 800. On 25-12-17 we celebrated Christmas day with the children of or- phanage and leprosy colony. The Chain | RID 3250 (Bihar & Jharkhand) | Issue - January 2018 Page No. 4 of 16 Rotaffair Club of St. Xavier’s College Ranchi On 06-12-17 RAC of St. Xavier’s College Ranchi has renovated the government school Rajkiyakrit Madhya Vidyalaya, Tharpkhna by building a library in the school and installing seesaw, slides in the play- ground. A social committee Dhirtmaan Abilizing Infinity Foundation of Mumbai sponsored this project. Apart from books and toys for the KG students, speakers and mikes were also given to the school. Chil- dren of the school said it will be now be their ‘Happy School’ where they will love to come daily. On 08-12-17 Head of Income Tax Department, Commissioner of Jhar- khand Mr. Rakesh Suri along with her wife visited our adopted school Rajyakrit Madhyavidyalaya Tharpkhna. We the members of Rotaract Club St. Xavier’s College Ranchi greeted and welcomed them to our school along with Prakash Tekriwal Sir to give highlights about our initiative “Shiksha Project” , the recently inaugurated Library and the installed rides and swings for the children. On 10-12-17 we the members of Rotaract Club of St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi in association with Orchid Hospital Ranchi organised “ORCHID RUN FOR HEART MARATHON”. The people seemed very enthusiastic and excited for the run. Rtr. Julian from Germany also participated in 5km Run The members after accomplishing their job enjoyed the rides and swings in the nearby Children Park to incul- cate bond of our love and friendship. The event was another milestone. On 13-12-17 President Rtr. Amrendra Yadav, Rtr. Ankush Sharma along with other members of Rotarct Club of St. Xavier’s College Ran- chi represented themselves in the Cultural Program organised by St. Xavier’s College Ranchi. NAAC Authorities were the guest of honour for the event and was a great success. On 19-12-17 Members of our Rotaract Club of St. Xavier’s College Ranchi actively volunteered the inter school Wildlife Quiz Competition organised by Saevus in Rotary Hall sponsored by Skybags. On 22-12-2017 On the occasion of Christmas, Rotaract Club of St. Xa- vier’s College, Ranchi celebrated Christmas with the children of our adopted school Rajkiyakrit Madhya Vidyalaya, Tharpakhna with the help of our St. Xavier’s College Ranchi management. The children were served with chocolates and biscuits in the college canteen. Sweets and snacks were distributed to everyone by our Vice Principal. In which Rtn An- jani Nidhi Sir marked his presence as a Chief Guest and some other dignitaries like Rtn Rajiv Talwar Sir , Rtn Gurpreet Mam , Proffessor Yahiya Ibrahim Sir and Proffesor Ahmed Badr Sir marked their presence and also Our ZRR Rtr Amandeep Singh Jas- sal and 2 of our seniors Rtr Rinku kumar and Rtr Anjali Singh marked their presence and been felicitated by the Club as well.The Celebration started with the National Anthem continued by foun- dation speech of Rtn Anjani Sir and followed by Rotaract Song by Rtr Sana Anjum . The Events of Golden Session had been presented through a Presentation. On 05-12-2017 celebrated smile day with the workers with the aim of making them feel happy. We interacted with them and altogether had a great time and also distributed the smiley badge with them so that they doesn’t forget to smile. On 09-12-2017 actively participated in the Rally of Communal Har- mony organised by NSS (National Service Scheme) unit of Karim City College .The Rally began from the College and Covered Mosque , Temple, Church and Gurudwara with the theme of Com- munal Harmony.The Students also Carried the Slogans written in 4 different languages. The Rotaractors also did old cloth drive on the same day at evening where we distributed old clothes to the needy people. On 10-12-2017 took an initiative of Educating Women Since 9th September , 2017 . Since that day till now Rotaractors of Rotaract Club of Karim City College teaches the girls and Women of an un- derpriviledged area \"Kapali\" every Sunday at One of Our Rotarac- tor's Father's School . On 13-12-2017 Innerwheel Club of Jamshedpur invited Rotaractors of Rotaract Club of Karim City College to take Sessions on the On- going Week long \" Santa's Workshop \" with the Children of Jagriti Centre . There the Rotaractors conducted sessions of regular classes and also taught few ways to keep safety from cold weather. On 19-12-2017 celebrated Christmas with the students of jagriti center of Inner Wheel club of Jamshedpur at DEEKSHA CEN- TER ,SONARI with the underprivileged children residing there. Santa caps and snacks were distributed. On 23-12-2017 Rotaract Club of Karim College along with Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West and Innerwheel Club of Jamshedpur dis- tributed the Relief Materials to the Fire Hit Victims at Bage Bas- ti,Jamshedpur . On 25-12-2017 Rotaract club of Karim city college went to Cheshire home to celebrate Christmas.The Rotaractors distributed 5kg's of raw pulses and 25kg's of raw rice to them. Club of ICWAI On 12-12-2017 Club member Rtr. Kamal Singh acted upon stage at Sukhmanch Theatre, New Delhi. On 16-12-2017 & 17-12-2017 Jointly organised Digi Sangram. It comprised of a free introductory seminar, a workshop on trending top 5 IT trends and a hackfest for students where the winners were given prizes worth Rs. 25,000 and digital India certificates. On 23-12-2017 A three day, two nights Rotaract District Confernce at RID 3030 was organised at SAHAS, The Camp, Rama Dam, Nag- pur. The conference was full of activities such as wall climbing, net climbing, treasure hunt, water activity, living in tents etc with for- mal sessions to motivate the rotaractors.Our club member Rtr. The knowledge on evo- lution of infection, basic precautions and myths regarding HIV AIDS were confronteddeeply among the students considering their age limits. On 03-12-2017 Rotaract Club of Kalimati Jamshedpur along with an NGO successfully campaigned for rejecting plastic bags in mar- ket with the food vendors and consumers. A short rally was also or- ganised at the end covering all the local chain of markets. On 03-12-2017 successfully executed the project Cold Cover 2.0 or- ganised by Rotaract District 3141 & 3142. This project signs for dis- tribution of warm clothes to the underprivileged section to protect them from this threatening winter. In which the team gratefully participated for two consecutive days and muffled people with warmth and love. On 06-12-2017 celebrated World Aids Day in open Field along with Rotaract District 3232 in their respective places. The members dis- tributed condoms to manhood and spread awareness with pam- phlets and posters in a large section of slum area. Also the women were acquainted of HIV and suggestions were given to protect their kids against infections. On 07-12-2017 reached our adopted School for the monthly Litera- cy event, one step more towards education. The Rotaractors taught the students English, basics knowledge, skill development tech- niques and some unknown facts. Children enjoyed this learning even more than their academic studies and were also given home tasks for revisions. On 07-12-2017 sprinkled bleaching powder, wherever required, to reduce the inconvenience caused by the mosquitoes. On 07-12-2017 successfully performed its monthly project WINS in their adopted School. The students showed washing hands on their own with the right steps and also spread it in their neighbourhood. On 08-12-2017 performed its Monthly practice of cleanliness drive targeting a location filled with dirt and pollutants. The whole area was cleaned by the members and wastes were properly disposed of in the garbage. On 09-12-2017 & 10-12-2017 collected newspapers in their neigh- bourhood for raising the club's fund. With this we also promoted paper bags, our club's identity and introduced people about Rota- ract. On 11-12-2017 successfully visited its District Governor along with the parent Rotary. Amandeep Singh Jassal, the President of the club donated one unit of blood in the blood bank. On 13-12-2017 Rtr Abhinay Bharti, Sergeant-at-Arms of the club came forward for this great contribution towards humanity. He reg- istered himself as an Organ Donor. The team salutes such donors of Rotaract. On 13-12-2017 step-in towards digital education in their adopted school where students were unaware of computer and its usage. Children were given basic computer knowledge. The team will con- tinue giving computer classes in such needy schools. On 13-12-2017 got engaged with the school students in cleaning all the classrooms and corridors of school premises. Children learnt to clean and maintain cleanliness in the temple of learning. On 14-12-2017 celebrated Energy Conservation Day. The team gathered in their adopted school and gave lessons on energy conser- vation. On 15-12-2017 feed up some poor kids and killed the hunger thriv- ing in them. Identifying the regular faces, children of the area greet- ed us with joy and once again thanked us for snacks. On 16-12-2017 acted a project apart from serving humans. This time the members feed some street animals who were buzzed off from the nearby food shops. On 19-12-2017 Rotaract Club of Kalimati Jamshedpur along with Rotaract Club of Mrs KMPM Vocational College gave resultant to a joint project of clothes donation. The members from both clubs gathered 180 plus clothes which included winter wears, blankets and quilts. Three major localities were targeted where there was scarcity of clothes for tackling the winter. On 20-12-2017 had a last visit to Chesire Home for the last time in the ending 2017. The rejoicing childish smiles greeted us with gener- osity and the privilege of getting lost in their world was felt again. At last we donated some useful stuff to the concerned headperson of the Chesire Home. On 22-12-2017 successfully accepted the challenge of Rotaract Club of Hyderabad, RID 3150.
