LIFE AND WORKS OF RIZALBSTM 3201 MARCH 28, 2022 bagani LIBERTY “Our liberty will not be secured at the sword's point... We must secure it by making ourselves worthy of it. And when the people reaches that height, God will provide a weapon, the idols will be shattered, tyranny will crumble like a house of cards, and liberty will shine out like the first dawn.” TOUCH ME NOT “I have to believe much in God because I have lost my faith in man.”

mga natutunan ni Maureen C. Abanilla For me, the most important learning I’ve learned is the big impact of the word ‘respect’. Respect is important to us in our lives growing up teaches us how to be respectful toward others. Respect means that you accept somebody for what and who they are. It can save feeling, trust and safety. I’ve also learned being inspired to Rizal for what his did in our country. Life and Works of Rizal help us to give more information about what happened in the past. And also to know the sacrifice of Rizal, such as giving his life. Respect others opinion, like Rizal did he respect others what they say about his because he knows the truth. No one can compare to Rizal he contribute to Philippine art, literature, and medicine. Rizal shows his love to Philippines by revolution against the Spanish Government to attain freedom and to gain control of the country. He did not use force, but instead used peaceful methods such as writing literature, and focusing on the Filipino culture to stir up the patriotic feelings of everyone.

mga natutunan ni Jannah Jazmine S. Aguila The major lesson we can learn from Dr. Jose Rizal is love for God, country and countrymen. their bravery and courage, he is the gentlest and noblest. Rizal spent much of his time in self-improvement via self- education. Not only was he busy academically, but he also learned sculpture, painting, languages including German, and kept up with the latest conversations globally in philosophy and science. And for me, he is such an inspiration because he made the Philippine League to get their first reform group and to get their freedom from Spain. Jose Rizal an inspiration to Philippine history for making the first reform group that is set up by the Philippines; his death brought out the people’s strengths to fight back in the name of Jose.

mga natutunan ni Joan L. Alamag For me, the most important learning that I learned in Life and Works of Rizal is Rizal’s determination to excel in as many fields as possible was to show the world that he was capable, that he was as tall as the next man. He proved that he was very much taller by rising above himself. I learned that determination is important to everyone that without determination you cannot finish anything. Rizal’s bravery and love for the country bring us to believe that there are always hope. Hope is very important in our life, without hope means you don`t believe to yourself. Believing in ourselves is the one that brings each of us, that there was a hope. It teaches us to believe in hope that there is always possibility in everything just believe in god and yourself. With the Life and Works of Rizal it help us to pay tribute to our national hero for devoting his life and works in shaping the Filipino Character. Lastly, I’ve learned to be appreciative on what I have because despite of many problems or circumstances still I am blessed that being Filipino is such an honour and privileged. It’s like an achievement that no one can get it because of Rizal youth became prioritize in this generation Rizal said that youth is the hope of our future that we are given a chance to create change and challenge us to be the real hope of our future.

mga natutunan ni Cristel Johanne C. Antenor The most important learning I have gained through the Life and Works of Rizal is to believe in yourself, that you are capable of doing something you think is impossible. Through this subject I’ve learned how to sacrifice and never lose hope. Rizal taught me that if we believe that something will happen, it will be at the right time. Rizal taught me that violence will never be the only solution to get what we want, to fight for what we want and to achieve what we want. In addition, through the Life and Works of Rizal I’ve become more confident and fight for what I think is right.

mga natutunan ni Jennelyn R. Asi Life and Works of Rizal have been nothing but knowledgeable for all of us. The classes that we’ve had already educated us a lot of things, may it be from our past, our present and/or our future. The country that we belong to has suffered tremendously under different countries that colonized us. One of the two of the most important things I have learned in this subject is to have an unconditional love for my country. Rizal, Bonifacio, and the rest of our fellow Filipino citizens marked our history with their remarkable love for our country that they are even willing to give up their life. Wherein, their hope and the dedication of our fellow Filipinos has nourished my stance and love for my country. Possessing patriotism is one of their key aspects to successfully start a revolution which can bring back the rights that were taken horribly from all of the Filipinos. The patriotism within me has doubled due to the clear history that was discussed. In which, this patriotism can lead my capabilities to be enhanced to do something for our country using it. The second learning has to be the importance of having strength in fighting for one's nation. It taught us how to have bravery to stand for our country; how to fight the people who would take what's rightfully ours either in a gradual or abrupt way. A fight that does not necessarily need to shed any blood but is willing to fight fist to fist if it is the only option left. This subject did not only let us learn our history but also taught us the importance of why it happened and the possessed characteristics of our heroes. With only the two being said, it is already more than enough knowledge that I have got for this subject.

mga natutunan ni Jacob Emmanuel P. Barredo Having been born in the same town as he was, words continuously circulate our community, regardless of whether we are inside the four corners of the classroom or listening to the stories of the elders. However, most of these stories are all about the surface of Rizal’s story, mostly just his achievements and life story until his death. It was until this point that detailed story of Rizal was revealed to me, and among everything I’ve learned, there’s one life lesson that I truly cherish and value the most coming from Rizal. You see, amongst all of his achievements and acknowledgements, it was his sense of value that he established for himself that truly impacted me a lot, especially since it is still relevant even in the present times. He, despite all the bullying he experienced because of his appearance, knows his worth, that is why he is not easily shaken and kept moving forward until he acquired the recognition and respect he deserved. He fully knows his capabilities, and he utilized everything he has, cementing what he is known for right now and breaking the limitations the society has set for him. Even in his studies, he knows what he wants, and despite having the intelligence and skills to pursue anything he wants and excel in that field, he chose not to stay and pursue what he truly wants, because he knows its worth... proceed to next page.

mga natutunan ni Jacob Emmanuel P. Barredo To be able to break what society has labeled you, to be able to give up what you worked hard for in exchange for something that you know you truly desire, and to have the mental strength to push your way through them and believe you will succeed, takes a whole lot of courage and a great deal of value for oneself in order for a person to be able to conquer them and emerge victorious, all of which are displayed by Rizal and something that I will forever be grateful for.

mga natutunan ni Josh Eddievhen Czire Bragas The most important insight I’ve learned in this course is that there are no excuses when you’re desperate and determined to fight for the freedom of your country. We all know that Rizal is a reformist through non-violent means, which is why he gained the foremost Philippine national hero title, and did his best through his capabilities in fighting with only through his knowledge and wisdom. I must say that he is the best example that I can convey to the Filipino youth to get inspiration. As the time comes, Rizal’s famous line “Kabataan ang pag-asa ng Bayan” will come about as the world evolves and our freedom and will be influenced. It is high time that we fight through our intellect— pursuing reform rather than revolution. I am one of the youth that will stand up for the freedom of our country without fear as Rizal did, and be the modern comrades of him today.

mga natutunan ni Reymundo M. Cantos Jr. The life of Jose Rizal was a truly inspiring story. Not just as an ordinary story of a Filipino but a story of a very intelligent and talented Filipino. His bravery and love for the country brings us to believe that there is always hope. , for me the value of certain things which is important for the success of his life. That is God, Family, Country and Self. He could not reach as that far without God. The Lords is the most important one who could determine our success, just like as Rizal feared God and in return, he have been bless abundantly not by material things only but a spiritual one. That is intelligence, skills, love, and compassion. Also I have learned from Rizal’s life that you should make yourself fruitfully. He makes himself grow to wisdom and knowledge to use it in God’s purpose. Rizal once dedicated one of his poems to the Filipino youths, not only for the youths of his time or the generation after them but to all Filipino youths of the past, present and for future. Rizal wants to remind our young and future leaders that they are the future of the fatherland Filipino. His courage and inspirational saying’s make us realize how life made of.

mga natutunan ni Kelsie Raine B. Casenas Being “Makabayan” means love of one’s country. The “Panatang Makabayan” itself opens with the pure, unflinching line “Iniibig ko ang Pilipinas.” It then enumerates the ways we ought to show this patriotic love: obeying rules, studying well, serving others and fulfilling our responsibilities as citizens, to name some. In other words, it urges us to actively contribute toward an ideal Filipino society. Moreover, being a responsible student had a big impact to contribute a lot on our beloved country men. The remarkable saying of Dr. Jose Rizal, “Ang kabataan ang pag asa ng bayan”, highlights that we need to do more for our country. We need to be responsible enough to do our part for being a daughter/son, outstanding student and also being a good netizen of our country. We've been given a freedom of will to decide what we want in our life but then we must also prioritize other individuals around us. In addition, “walang sinuman ang nabubuhay para sa sarili lamang” is an act of displaying kindness and concern for other people realize that no man is an island. Furthermore, our attitude and behavior towards other individuals were built in our home. What we are now as a person is because of the nature in our home and how our parents discipline us. Being a child, we need to learn how to respect our parents as well as respecting other people in our community. In that way, you can also gain the respect needed for you to have a good reputation. We also need to examine our conscience. We need to stay focused and motivated on our path toward success and not be easily destructed on the illegal things we may encounter.

mga natutunan ni Ericka Mae A. Castillo We can never have our freedoms back if it wasn't for the patriotism our national heroes have manifested and fought for. Like Rizal who used his intelligence and bravery to fight and awaken people's sleeping devotion for our country. Thus, it's just right to have him be honored and let his life and works be recognized as a long great hero. Thus, Life and Works of Rizal tells that all schools, both public and private with colleges and universities should cultivate Rizal's life, works, writing and even his biography for us to still acknowledge and recognize his sacrifices. Especially for us the youth that will serve these inspiring works and life of him as one step of being nationalistic in the country our heroes have lived and died for. Studying is one way of knowing. Dr. Jose Rizal is the Philippines National Hero. He is a writer and a patriot whose life and writings was an inspiration that made a great big impact on the Philippine independence. So, knowing about him is the same as knowing his importance in Philippine History.

mga natutunan ni Marianne Joy E. Catibog Dr. Jose Rizal had a life that was genuinely inspirational. Not just any regular Filipino narrative, but the story of an extremely clever and brilliant Filipino who is willing to spend his entire life to bring freedom and peace to his family and country. I've known who Rizal actually is for a semester. It may not be all about him, but the lessons and information I gained are sufficient to convince myself, other Filipinos, and even strangers, that he deserves to be who he is today. And that is the Philippine National Hero. His life was truly fascinating and colorful, as the hero's experiences shaped him into the person God intended for him to be. I have learned a lot in the life and works of rizal but one of the most I have learned and will carry for the rest of my life is to be a good citizen with love for the country. As a Filipino we must learn to fight for what is right, not in a way that hurts and harass our fellow human beings but in a better way where no one is physically hurt, we must learn to defend our fellow Filipinos from oppressive people, just like rizal did to us to achieve freedom. Rizal used pen to depend or saved our country, he demonstrated that a pen is more powerful than a weapon. Because of his literary skills, he may persuade his entire community to seek justice, destroying an empire. Words fly everywhere and excite every man's emotions. As the adage goes, every word carries both positive and bad connotations. It has the potential to heal one's heart while potentially harming another. Rizal had a God-fearing heart, which allowed him to spark change and peace. This means that we Filipinos must have a good conscience and a God- fearing heart in order to bring about positive changes.

mga natutunan ni Irene G. Corpuz In studying the life and works of Rizal, I learned a lot about our national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. From his family, his education, his novels, and his bravery to fight for our country in a peaceful way. I admire him for his excellence and intelligence in the field he is in. But most importantly, I admire him for his faith in God. At a very young age, he already had a personal relationship with God. I remember the poem that he composed while at Ateneo. It is about the importance of religion in education, and to him, education without God is not true education. It reminds me that no matter how good you are at everything, whether academically or otherwise, we are nothing without God in our lives. God is the source of our wisdom, the source of everything. We know that Rizal is good at almost everything. However, he does not forget to give all glory and honor to God. I believe that incorporating God into all you do is the most significant thing I've learnt from studying life and works of Rizal. It's great to accomplish a lot of things and gain skills and knowledge, but don't forget to honor God with whatever we have.

mga natutunan ni Alexa Ross A. De Leon \"Filipinos don’t realize that victory is the child of struggle, that joy blossoms from suffering, and redemption is a product of sacrifice.\" This line strikes me the most. His life is a product of wounds, but then it is a fruitful one. He's correct; we discover victory among the struggles we face in real life. His life and work have always been an inspiration to me. A quick scenario of being a boy who's very talented but when he grew up, a man of his words and efforts fully transitioned to have a great impact on many Filipinos. For me as a woman, the most important lesson I've learned is to be resilient to what's true regardless of what you've fought for. The wrong ones cannot be concealed by the other wrong ones. Rizal's life and work inspired me to walk in victory regardless of my past struggles and to bloom beautifully with joy from my sufferings. Moral and life lessons are probably among the most important things to remember. I've been grateful for his life for being a great inspiration and blessing to this and future generations.

mga natutunan ni Jairha B. De Leon Everything happens for a reason. Learning is a continuous process, and delving into Rizal’s life will lead you in a good way, not only educating oneself but also for others. It is important to study Rizal’s life and his writings including other heroes because the contribution they give to the country is priceless. He was a versatile intellectual and political activist most remembered for his political writings, which sparked the Philippine revolution and eventually led to his execution by Spanish invaders. Thus, it is of great importance that students understand the grounds behind having to take up a Rizal course. I have learned that the ultimate purpose in life calls society not to be self- centered. The most important learning I’ve learned in Life and Works of Rizal is how he sacrificed his life for us. Rizal engaged in a separate battle. He didn't go to battle and \"fight\" like most revolutionaries do—with guns and murder. His combat was quiet, peaceful, and calm. Instead of employing force, he used nonviolent techniques such as authoring literature, developing arts, and emphasizing on Filipino culture to arouse everyone's patriotic impulses. In addition to that, if we are going to know what Rizal did, we can surely be proud of. Rizal’s living legacy teaches us that even if nobody is perfect, a hero lies within someone, willing to sacrifice and surrender his life for the sake of many. His notions capture one’s heart and open up young minds to unlock the wonder hidden in his great teachings.

mga natutunan ni Lhexter Jay S. Dimaano As we study this General education course subject, we embodied the character of being a true Filipino. It showcases our rich culture and tradition, the life that we are living with and the dreams we are conquering. We do have different struggles and challenges that we are all facing, but at the end of the day we can see that there is light and hope that we can look forward. With this, my greatest lesson in the Life and Works of Rizal that I can bring through my journey is that \"life is a long learning process\". We, especially the youth are all eager to know more about ourselves, the community we are involved with and with the country we are defending and protecting. All of this can only be achieved through proper education. If we want to know more about something, we must do research and gathering of facts and information accurately. Like Rizal, I am really dedicated to know everything around me. Studying various languages to easily communicate with people, strengthening my will for education and learning, engaging with different industries and field of works for experiences to enhance my skills and expertise, and to provide service to people as what my life's destiny. This learning will not remain as a learning only, it will be my advocacy to continue and keep going. An advocacy that we, the youth must take part in every happenings of our society, that we can raise our voices for what is the truth and rights, and to take a stand that will empower each and every Filipino through education and innovation. Everyday is a challenge, we can fail and we can win, but one thing is for sure everything will be a new learning.

mga natutunan ni Jahnelle Anne G. Dimayuga The most significant thing I've learnt from Rizal's Life and Works is the value of education and becoming educated. No one can degrade or influence me into believing something that goes against my ideals since not knowing enough can result in people controlling what I'm thinking and thus controlling my opinions. Being knowledgeable enough will enable me to take a stand on what I know, much as Rizal did on what he knows is right, his ideals. Education will aid in the development of critical thinking skills, which will aid in decision-making, as well as the development of my mentality. As my grandmother said, no one can take it away from me, what I know, what I’ve learned, even though there are hurdles to get to where I want to be. I can take on everything if I am well-versed, not just in academics but also being street smart is also important. It will prepare me, like Dr. Jose Rizal, to face the actual world with the appropriate attitude and principles. Education, well let’s just say knowledge, will serve as my armor and ammunition as long as I live.

mga natutunan ni Cristine Jane L. Eleda Studying the life and works for Rizal made me learn things more than ever. Rizal will make us realize little things, how we matter, work, and their significance in our lives. I am the type of person who lets time pass by hand, and I don't focus much on self-improvement because I feel like I don't have any talent running in my blood. Personal growth and self-improvement are a big part of being successful in your life as a whole; how we know Rizal, he has it all. Personal development is learning about yourself and pushing yourself to realize your full potential. It entails constantly questioning who you want to become and how you want to get there. It could entail developing new habits and hobbies, honing new talents, and putting new strategies into practice to reach your objectives. Personal growth and self- improvement are a big part of being successful in your life. Rizal inspires me to become better not in the eyes of others but for me to become a better version of myself every day. mga natutunan ni Cristine Jane L. Eleda Upon studying Life and Works of Rizal, I let myself come out of my comfort zone and face the reality of life. We all have certain limits in what we can or can’t do. I don't do things beyond capability, but now I just learned to spend time doing something that will benefit me because of him. I started reading instead of watching smart tv and watching vlogs on YouTube. I focused more on how I could make my time more productive every day. I also discovered that my hand is excellent at drawing, so now I started making simple drawings. I thought I had nothing particular on me. I believed that I didn't have talent but seeing myself now how I explored things made me realize that I needed someone who would motivate and inspires me, and that is him. You will develop your conviction in yourself and a better life if you practice living life outside your comfort zone. You'll be able to explore a whole new world of possibilities that you were previously unaware of. Stepping out of your comfort zone will push those limits and make bigger space for you to expand. The world outside your comfort zone may appear frightening. We have no idea what is out there, whether amicable or unpleasant. But it is precisely this unknown environment that strengthens and braves us for the future. Overcoming our fears fosters confidence and positive self-esteem, critical components of life success.

mga natutunan ni Kyla Anne B. Evangelista This semester made me widely recognize who Rizal is. It may not be entirely about him, however, the lessons and information I acquired are fair to claim upon myself, other Filipinos, and even strangers, that he ought to be acknowledged for what he has been today. To be the Filipino National Hero. His existence was genuinely fascinating because the hero's hardships shaped him into the person that has a big part in fighting for our freedom. I think the most important learning that I learned from Life and Works of Rizal is that Rizal's life has taught me the importance of being a lifelong learner. He encourages himself to obtain expertise and knowledge in order to put it to good use. He didn't tell himself he wasn't valuable enough, and he didn't live in the dark about what was going on around him. Lifelong learning can help us better comprehend the world around us, give us more and better possibilities, and improve our overall quality of life as Rizal did, to fight for his motherland, justice, freedom, education, family, and God. Learning is necessary for personal and professional development throughout one's life.

Even today, family is one of the pillars of a person’s character. Country comes next! For Rizal’s portrayal of the Love of country as a means of loving his fellow Filipino, thus assisting them in obtaining justice from the evil and corrupt priests and Spaniards who are mistreating them in their own land, for God has created us to extend our help to our fellow as a symbol of glorifying Him. Last but not least is Self. Rizal’s life has taught me that you should make the most of yourself. He cultivates wisdom and knowledge in order to use them for God’s purposes. He did not tell himself that he was not valuable enough, and he did not live in denial about what was going on around him. As a result, he is aware that he is a child of God.

His works and writings are ways to develop our nationality in accordance with law by exercising the field of learning. He is always positive in life whatever happens he considers this only a challenge from God, and he faces it for his family. Having a goal that’s strong is very unique, and I think that not all people have that kind of drive to do things. Knowing what's right for you and the people around you. For my personal understanding, Jose Rizal informs me the value of several things that are critical to his life's achievement. God, Family, Country, and Self are the four elements. Without God, he couldn't get that far. The Lord is the most crucial factor that will decide our success, just as Rizal feared God and was rewarded abundantly not just in financial goods but also in spiritual ones. Intelligence, abilities, love, and compassion are all examples of this. The role of family is also crucial, as Rizal was fortunate to have a family who could guide him to his true goals. Family is still one of the pillars of society today and the person's personality. I've learned from Rizal's life that you should build a good living for yourself. He cultivates intelligence and knowledge in order to apply it to God's purposes. He didn't tell himself that he wasn't valuable enough or that he was clueless to what was going on around him. There are many things I've learned, but what has remained with me throughout his life is how Rizal embodied the essence of what it means to be a Filipino. Trying to envision what he had accomplished for our country was too overpowering, but the qualities he instilled in himself when he was just getting started meant a lot. Apart from being able to give us independence, the fact that he was a good son to his parents and his intelligence was so evident, it serves as a foundation that the simplest things you did today will impact the things you'll do in the future. mga natutunan ni Mc Vincent R. Laroza He was a great leader throughout his whole life! His writing influenced many Filipinos because it reflected what they were feeling and thinking at that time. His writing was inspirational because it enabled the Filipinos to think in ways they had never thought of before. Rizal is a hero, and his life was not only about studying but also about learning the importance of family, love and country/motherland! He wanted Filipinos to awaken their minds to the problems of life and learn to make better choices. He wanted them to learn that it is essential for everyone to have a job to feed their families, give their children a good education and still have money to buy things that will improve their lives.

He spent his time in exile in Dapitan (a remote community in Mindanao) recording the local animal and plant kingdoms to share with fellow revolutionaries.

mga natutunan ni Erica Althea R. Liwanag Studying Life and Works of Rizal is both motivating and fascinating, and it will lead to various life realizations. What ifs, how possible it was, how would you feel if you were there, and what are the possible things you are willing to do and sacrifice? You will reach a point where you will place yourself in the circumstance and question yourself, \"Can I do the same thing?\" To be honest, this Life and Works of Rizal taught me a lot, not just academically, but also in real life. But the most essential learning I've learnt from this is to always choose to fight for what is right and worth fighting for. There will always be battles; some are foreseen, while others are not, but we must always be prepared to win them all, as Dr. Jose Rizal did. He chose to love and fight for our country, the Philippines, despite having everything great in life. As for me, I realized that there are certain things in life for which we are willing to give up everything we have, like the independence of the Philippines, for which Dr. Jose Rizal willingly gave up everything he had, including his family, career, studies, and everything else, in order to restore freedom to the Filipinos. I learned that loving our country will give you the strength, bravery, and determination to fight for it no matter what it takes. After all of the pain, suffering, and anguish, you will still have hope that you can make a difference, that you can restore peace to your country, and that you can revive hope and freedom to every Filipino who could not fight like you.

mga natutunan ni Christine Julie Grace M. Lopez Jose Rizal's life and works are undeniably remarkable and heroic. Many students say this course is tough, but now that we've learned it, I can say no, and it seems like you're just chatting about Rizal's life. It is crucial to know Rizal's life and works since his contribution to our country is priceless. The most important learning I learned was that imperfection does not prevent you from doing whatever you want or can. Rizal overcame his insecurities by focusing on self-improvement through self-education. He imbibes a powerful soul that stimulates his numerous engagements. He studied sculpture, painting, philosophy, science, languages, and many other things in addition to academics. He used his knowledge, the power of writing, and sacrifices himself to gain our independence without resorting to violence. There are no words to describe his love for our country and its people. I've come to a lot of realizations. I realized that the best approach to attain life goals is to focus, trust myself, and emulate Rizal, who was consistently reading, writing, and doing good things in order to be a better man and valuable citizen. By embracing his fruitful vision, I realize that living in the Philippines is about more than just physical pleasures. It is also about higher, righteous, and purer values. He does more than just make us proud or impress us. Instead, he encourages and enlightens us to be Filipinos and human beings.

mga natutunan ni Geenel E. Lumanglas It is the endeavour to know and understand Rizal, not just as an individual, but also as a representative of our Asian-ness. We must study his life and works to understand what he knew about being an Asian in the world of ideas formed by Western colonialism. Many people in today's generation have never heard much about Jose Rizal. Today, acting with knowing all this information allows us to appreciate and understand the views of Jose Rizal on his people, life, society and government. Rizal is an icon, and he will always be remembered as someone who peacefully fought for freedom. He was a great leader throughout his whole life! His writing influenced many Filipinos because it reflected what they were feeling and thinking at that time. His writing was inspirational because it enabled the Filipinos to think in ways they had never thought of before. He opened their minds to different ideas, he helped them see what they didn't have yet, and he made them feel like they could make a difference in this world. Rizal is a hero, and his life was not only about studying but also about learning the importance of family, love and country. He wanted Filipinos to awaken their minds to the problems of life and learn to make better choices. He wanted them to learn that it is essential for everyone to have a job to feed their families, give their children a good education and still have money to buy things that will improve their lives.

mga natutunan ni Kelly Joy C. Macatangay Maybe life is too difficult to live, love is too strong to be weak and freedom is too important to let go. In the life and works of Rizal, I have learned and realized that it is important to live your life to what you know is right, and to fight even if it is against all odds. To stand for the love that you know no one could save what/who you love and to use time to the fullest for freedom not only for yourself but for those you knew that cannot break free from their hardships. This subject enlightens us to what we are capable of, that we can be more of ourselves if we believe that we can do. The source of all of this is to have motivation, if you are motivated to do something you like, something you love and something that can be the source of others' motivation, you can achieve your goals despite the process that you might encounter. In every sacrifice you do, you could receive more than what you expected and what you deserved. Never give up and never stop looking for another goal, if you reach your first achievement. It's like, look for another reason to move forward if something happens even if it's negative or positive. Life is too short to be stuck in the middle of a process, you should keep grinding for your betterment and if you succeed, you can now be the source of motivation for others just like rizal.

mga natutunan ni Mirabell Janine D. Manalo It is an obligation to get to know and understand the Life and Works of Rizal, not just as a person, but also as a symbol of being a Filipino. To understand what he knew about being a Filipino in the world of ideas when Spaniards occupied our country by force and used force and arms to act by their governance. As time goes by, in this generation, Dr. Jose Rizal’s memories are slowly fading in their hearts and minds as national heroes because many emerging personalities can capture their hearts. However, the most important learning that I have learned in Life and Works of Rizal is that Dr. Jose Rizal tells us about the importance of several things in his life. There are four elements: God, Family, Country, and Self. He would not have made it this far without the help of God. The Lord is the most important factor in determining our success, just as Rizal feared God and was extravagantly rewarded not only in material but also spiritual goods. This can be demonstrated through intelligence, skills, love, and compassion. Dr. Jose Rizal was fortunate to have a family who could guide him to his true goals, which is why family plays such an important role. Family is still one of the most important aspects of a person's personality today. There's also the country because God created us to extend our help to one another as a symbol of glorifying him...proceed to next page.

mga natutunan ni Mirabell Janine D. Manalo Rizal portrays the love of the country as a means of loving his fellow Filipino, thus assisting them in obtaining justice from the evil and corrupt priests and Spaniards who are mistreating them in their land. And then there's Self. Rizal's life has taught us that we should make a good living for ourselves. He prepares himself to gain knowledge and understanding to use it for God's purposes. He didn't tell himself that he wasn't valuable enough, and he didn't deny what was happening around him. As a result, he realizes he is God's child. And our country has finally regained its liberty and freedom due to Dr. Jose Rizal's efforts and affection. Filipinos are greatly influenced by his works and noble deeds. Without a doubt, it sets a good example for the country's education system in terms of encouraging student patriotism and Filipinos are truly grateful to him. I hope that future generations of Filipino youth never forget his sacrifices. Let us at the very least acknowledge and honor all of his deeds as payment for everything.

mga natutunan ni Lea Piazirine C. Marquez After studying about Rizal, his life, his family, his hardships, and his values, I have seen that expressiveness is a repeating topic. I have learned that we should not remain silent when observing disturbed individuals. As our hero observed the suffering of his fellow Filipinos at the hands of the Spaniards and did not hesitate to voice his disapproval with his writing, so should we. Also, speaking up carries severe costs, as Rizal discovered. To be neutral in cases of inequality, however, is to choose the oppressor's side, according to a popular proverb. Consequently, it remains my responsibility as a person to speak out against these situations. I will try my best to voice my approval and displeasure about political, environmental, and social issues. The most important thing I've learned from education is that it's important to keep an open mind and constantly be willing to ask questions, no matter what comes our way. Even though my last conclusion was incorrect, I continued to read without paying attention until I had memorized it. I understood that this topic is the key to re-igniting the kids' attention since it would help bring out their patriotism and nationalist feelings...proceed to next page.

mga natutunan ni Lea Piazirine C. Marquez But Rizal's life was more than simply his relationships with his parents and siblings; it was shaped by the sacrifices he made. That fighting for our nation and preserving its dignity is a terrific approach to accomplish meaningful change where darkness, violence, and loudness cannot develop is the goal of this topic. Before making a choice, we should pause and consider our options. This can help us grow as individuals. In my mind, Rizal's role model needed more than simply bravery, passion, and spirit to achieve greatness. I also believed that the most significant aspects of how someone viewed and thought about things were their eyes and feelings.

mga natutunan ni Angela Mean Medrano If there are one thing that I learned and realized when studying Rizal’s life and work, it is that when he argued on nationalism, people could only foster their sense of nationalism by studying history. At first, I hated history classes because they got me so bored easily that it made me think “What will I gain from this? Why do we need to study the past when we are in the present?” But when I read the argument of Rizal on nationalism, it hit me hard. I had realizations such as, how can I in still a sense of belonging in the people of the country towards my nation if I despise studying history? How could I understand different languages, religions, cultures, and beliefs of everyone if I don’t want to study where they started? I learned from Rizal’s arguments on nationalism that I could only foster nationalism if I studied history, and from that argument, I realized how important history classes are and why they are still taught. Studying history helps us to understand how events in the past made things the way they are today. With lessons from the past, we not only learn about ourselves and how we came to be, but also develop the ability to avoid mistakes and create better paths for our society. Studying the diversity of human experience teaches us to appreciate culture, ideas, and traditions that are not our own and to recognize them as meaningful events that occurred at specific times and places. History helps us realize how different our lives and experiences are from those of our ancestors, yet how similar we are in our goals and values.

mga natutunan ni Mary Joy B. Nido Studying the life and works of Rizal brought me several comprehensions about reality and really gave me a wide range of knowledge and important learnings. One of the most dominant eruditions that really caught me is the importance and significance of leadership. Rizal represents every man and woman who has ever lost their own lives to the consequences of the very cause that they tried to go against. It is salient, especially nowadays wherein injustices and dishonesty are rampant in our society. Rizal may be known as the national hero that changed the course of history through his writings and ideals, but it was his effective leadership that brought people together to bring about change and moral awakening across the country. I think it is one of the most important things that we, Filipinos, embody to create a better world to live in. As a student in this present generation, I found studying life and works of Rizal a little bit challenging but full of wisdom and good lessons that we must input in our daily lives. Jose Rizal set the pattern of an extraordinary leader. He displayed a kind of leadership that was not motivated by personal interest but the willingness to sacrifice oneself for the good of the majority which he described in his novels as the national sentiment. We are all surrounded by different people around us. Among these many of them give us some beautiful lessons in life and thus become inspirational figures for us. Rizal made me realize that a great leadership doesn’t revolve all over violence and cruelty but it can achieve through intelligence and proper way of leading that involves peace and tranquility. With the idea of good leadership that Rizal has bequeathed to us, I, myself can be an agent for social change. Sometimes people just need a little inspiration in their lives to realize their goals and aspirations. I want to become that inspirational leader to them just like our national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal.

Considering in my elementary days, there was only a little information discussed about Jose RIzal. As we started to determine Rizal’s life and works, it was clear to me that he was truly deserving to be the national hero of the Philippines. All his sacrifices and hard work proves it. But the main learning that is important to me is that he doesn’t let his physical appearance be the hindrance of himself. He used it as his motivation to overcome his insecurities. By this, he excelled in everything and has been able to do everything he wanted in relation to his excellence.

mga natutunan ni Georgina Angela C. Perez Having the Life and Works of Rizal as a subject is a prime opportunity because first, it makes us aware of what happened during the time of our national hero that led to what is happening in our country now, and then it gives us a clear understanding of what Dr. Rizal accomplished and sacrificed for our country, the Philippines. A proper comprehension of our history is highly essential to us because it will show how a poor understanding of our past has affected our present lives now. Dr. Rizal was educated as a result of his exposure to Spaniards' wrong beliefs, and there came a period when Spaniards attempted to capture not only our country but also the innocent Filipinos as slaves. He raised awareness of maltreatment among Filipinos because he did not want his countrymen to be seized and sold as slaves by the Spaniards. This scenario, I believe, can be paralleled to our current period, when we are all aware of the corruption and numerous problems that exist in our country. We can use our current resources to help our fellow Filipinos who have been victims of fake news and who have likewise been blinded by power and money. And if people are blinded, we should not be ashamed to raise awareness and urge people that we live in an era where there are many methods to access the internet to investigate and find out the truth, so that fake news and disinformation do not flourish. Let Dr. Jose Rizal and other heroes who have fought and sacrificed their lives for our country inspire us to keep going in life... proceed to next page.

We must all give each other the warmth of being united, regardless of our social background or color. It is not only encouraged, but also a source of inspiration and hope for the entire world, to have a strong enthusiasm and love for our country. Be Rizal! Let us all be proud of our Filipino ancestry. Let us become one of the future generation's modern heroes.
