Alumni Testimonials When I was a high school student in Probolinggo, I've already heard about the business school in ITB and I was really interested to learn about business. But at that time I realized my family couldn't afford to pay the tuition. Luckily I received Bidikmisi scholarship from the government, and met my friend Faiz from Informatics study program in ITB who also lived in the same dormitory for Bidikmisi student. We both have a dream to create a digital startup that can have an impact on society. From there, we took part in business ideas and business case competitions to train our critical thinking. This is where the beginning of the Eduka system which at the first succeeded in achieving funding of 10 million from ITB 2018 PMW. Collaboration is very important in building a business or startup, do not limit yourself because there is no capital or so, if you have good idea there will be investors who will provide funds. Then my suggestion for ITB students is, if our business grow then we must also grow, don't leave academic activities if our business has advanced. As a college student we have to use all of the opportunity to develop ourselves. Sodiko Hidayad Bachelor of Entrepreneurship, Class of 2019 Founder of Eduka System Entrepreneurs should bring social impact, because when we decide to become entrepreneurs, that’s where we will start thinking about how many people who received impact from direct and indirect business. Entrepreneur is not a theory because when in the real world, some of the theories we learn in class do not apply even in the digital era like today. The point is, when we want to be entrepreneurs, then don’t plan or use too much theory, but immediately execute the plan. I am proud to be the first graduate of SBM ITB in 2007, because there was something that other business schools did not have, namely network. For the business world, networking is important. The courses in SBM that was very useful for me is Integrated Business Experience (IBE) course. At that time, there were no business school that encouraged their students to become entrepreneurs, and at the same time get funding from SBM ITB's partners to run the business project.
