About UsWhen Cranes, Inc. was founded back in the Post-Depression days of 1940, it started with a fleet ofLink-Belt truck cranes and serviced the metropolitanNew York area. Under the stewardship of Paul Weiss, and currently Paul's son, Larry, and grandson, Robert, today the company has expanded to become one ofthe major crane rental houses in the entire Northeastregion.“We have tried to position ourselves to service allareas of the construction industry,” says president,Larry Weiss. “Our mission is to provide ourcustomers with the most complete and up-to-datefleet available. Towards that end, we have heavilyinvested in new technology in recent years, oftenbeing the first company in the country, if not theworld, to introduce new models from majormanufacturers. In fact, we were a pioneer withLiebherr, showcasing the first LR 1400’s, LR 1350’sand LTC 1055-3.1’s in America.”

Load ChartsLTC 1055-3.1The LTC 1055-3.1 provides the excellent travel characteristics of traditional all-terrain cranes, but with an ultra-compact design that makes this 65-tonner ideallysuited for operations in very confined spaces, such as working in industrialproduction halls or in dense urban environments.

LTM 1090-4.1The four-axle LTM 1090-4.1 mobile crane offers considerable improvements inperformance compared with the previous model LTM 1080/1. The load capacitieshave been increased by up to 22% on the main boom and as much as 33% on thefolding jib. The two-engine design, with performance-matched Liebherr craneengines, ensures particularly economic operation of both the carrier and thesuperstructure.

LTR 1100The LTR 1100 unites the advantages of a telescopic crane and those of a crawlercrane. The crawler chassis has outstanding off-road capabilities andmanoeuvrability. What is more, the crane displaces its load with excellentprecision. The advantages of telescopic cranes are short set-up times, easiertransportation and the variability of the boom and jib system.

HS 855HDA wide range of attachments means that the range of use of the Liebherr HS855HD duty-cycle crawler crane is almost unlimited; these include grabbers, drag buckets, diaphragm wall grabbers and pipe laying machines, as well asdemolition and dynamic ground compaction. Slurry wall and clamshelloperations are also a specialty for this machine.
