Architecture How is this Art Form Expressed? Architecture is an art form that you walk past every day without realizing it or fully appreciating it as such. It is expressed through the materials and methods used to construct structures. The compositional properties of materials (e.g., structure, weight, durability) and the way they are used in structure are important in expressing design techniques. The treatment of the surface can express and interpret their properties, and their use can be expressed by emphasizing the dimensions and joining of the building units into which they are formed. On the other hand, building methods are sometimes simply demonstrated by exposing the structure, as in the heavy timber frame, but in many styles, the functions of structural systems have been interpreted by designing their members in forms that are often more explanatory than efficient. How does this unmask the artist's creativity? In architecture, architects must use their specialist construction knowledge and high-level drawing skills to visualize and design buildings and other structures that are functional, safe, sustainable, and, in many cases, aesthetically pleasing.

They make use of their creativity by transforming imaginations formed through reading into a reality. This also challenges the creativity of filmmakers since they need to be flexible to achieve an exceptional work. Not only because they contain many other forms of art (music and acting), but also, they were a way for creators to relay their vision and their imagination to the audience, themselves. Since literature is an intellectual creation of its author, one’s culture and upbringing would, in one way or another, be reflected in the final work. Historically, literature has been used to pass on knowledge to people and stimulate ideals and beliefs; however, modern literature now focuses on creating stories that appeal to the imaginative thinking of its readers.
