From the Principal’s Desk Dear Parents As we have successfully completed what has been an eventful first term and now started with the second term, I want to thank you all for your wholehearted support over the last six months. I am particularly appreciative of everything you have been doing to support your ward’s uninterrupted learning from home. I understand how difficult it is to juggle between working from home and at the same time supporting your children with their schooling. Heartfelt gratitude to all the parents from my team at EuroSchool North Campus. We are in a very different world today; thanks to the pandemic which has invaded us and has also taught us many life lessons in the process and forced us to think outside the norm. At the school level, we have learnt to adapt to virtual teaching – learning, taking care of our students’ requirements virtually and taking a big leap in making virtual learning the most enjoyable and fruitful experience for our students. I hope that you have all enjoyed receiving the regular newsletters which really do reflect the myriad opportunities we are presenting to our students to enable their process of self discovery! So, here’s yet another edition that will give you a sneak peek into the plethora of activities that our students and teachers were engaged in.

The colour ‘pink’ represents friendship, PINK DAY affection , inner peace and harmony. Our tiny tots , the Euro Juniors, had an amazing activity on Monday, 21st September 2020 whereby the students recapitulated the colour pink . The students painted old bottles using pink colour and some children sowed seeds and other planted saplings . They learnt how to make best out of waste. It was a fun- filled activity and a thrilling experience for the little ones as well as the teachers.

Green- The Colour of Prosperity and Harmony. GREEN DAY Green Day was celebrated with great zeal and fun in the Pre- Primary wing on 24th September 2020. The tiny tots and teachers came to virtual class dressed in pretty ‘green’ attires and looked eco-friendly. The teachers explained the importance of green colour. Acts of green convey the message that we should not cut trees and we should grow more trees. Our tiny tots were introduced to various shades of green. Many activities were conducted like riddle games, pinwheel, sandwich making etc. The day was filled with a lot of excitement and fun. Children enjoyed eating the sandwich which they prepared.

Playing games, sharing stories and just being together makes a difference in all our lives. Family bonding time builds confidence, teaches children about interacting with others, and creates wonderful memories that last for a lifetime. Spending time together helps to form lasting connections between family members with this thought Jr.kg section has captured few moments and fun time on camera. This was truly one of the most reminiscent day.

On the occasion of GANDHI JAYANTI Virtually from Sabarmati Ashram “If I have the belief that I can do it, I shall surely acquire the capacity to do it, even if I may not have it at the beginning.” - Mahatma Gandhi The above is pertinent to the talent we saw in this creation. Manvi Shah of Grade 3C, EuroSchool North Campus, took us to Sabarmati Ashram in Gujarat and told us everything she knows about Mahatma Gandhi with her delightful expressions. Her technical expertise at this age would have one gazing in awe. With this sudden shift away from physical classroom, education has changed dramatically. And with the distinctive rise of e-learning. our students like Manvi Shah are exhibiting incredible skills time and again.

As a team, we request your complete support and co-operation in future too, as you have always provided. I am very mindful that these continue to be unsettling and difficult times for students, staff and parents. However, having worked together so positively over these months, we are certain to achieve much more in the second term of the academic year 2020-21 and fully equip our students to develop the competencies required for handling the next grade to which they will be promoted.
